Ive been invited to a fancey dress party and i need recomendations for an outfit. I really don't like fancy dress and ive got no money surgestions please i'm desprate for idea's !
animals tend to be easy to do if you can fashion some ears out of something =)
Are the costumes random or genre specific? Can you come as anyone from ... science-fiction, fantasy ... What about comic-books? Anime? TV? Film? D&D, manga, Greek gods, Roman Gods, Norse Gods? ..... Gentlemen, to the sewing machines
..so basically is there a theme to the party?

Pirate can be easy and cheap to knock up...and you can sexy it up too if you want.
A cat could be easy...black leggings and tight top, and fashion a tail and ears out of cheap fabric, get a cheap collar from a shop, and use face paint or eyeliner for facial details.

a vampire/zombie is easy too white top ripped black trousers/leggings cut and ripped and cover in red paint/food colouring talc on face or pale face powder black eyeliner and smudge red lippy so it looks like you've bitten someone!!!

anything really, depends on how daring you want to be. you could go from either just a swimsuit or maybe a black cami top with a short black skirt

Gypsy is really easy to do too. All you need is a long gypsy skirt, an off the shoulder top or sleeveless summer top, an underbust corset is a great addition if you have one. Knee boots and some silk scarves hanging from a loose belt round your waist with some gold jewellery.
Hiya, you can buy something like this- http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=15928 and wear and normal ruffled shirt and trousers etc. Sometimes the accessories are more than enough to "make" the outfit.
With this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=8027 (you linked too) you can just wear a LBD (little black dress) and dress kinda sexy.
The sexier outfits tend to stand out more but then again something like the pirate outfit might be more fitting if you don't feel too comfortable.
You can always wear shorts/skirts and wear stockings or tights to sexy up any costume though.
Try going to your nearest poundstore or something and pick out any toys or accessories that fit into what you want. Hope that helps.
