I'm a tradesman and have never been offered "services" for discounts/freebies in 15 years. Doing favours is something customers joke about often. I wouldn't do discount... but maybe some mutual fun with a stranger, who I just happened to meet doing a job?
Had a few straight up propositions in customers houses, but I was too young and shy to do anything!
