I have one of those electrical wire folders for the cables and have little price tags detailing what they're for. I used to keep them in the satin bags with the toy but many take the same cable so I have that cable marked with compatible toys so I only need to go to the one section. Gives me a bit more room in my drawers.
The thought of tossing all my toys together in my bottom drawer is so tempting. Or even just the top ten to grab and go. I might look for some kind of separation product like those honeycomb things for socks. Or even a cutlery tray. Maybe.
Throwing them all together would be ideal, though.
UPDATE: They've been washed and dried from their 24 hour test and they both appear fine. π I like to leave them overnight afterwards to see if any defects turn up, but so far they've not melted or discoloured in any way.
Re: the fun factory and oil warning. That is still up to date. The warning was included in my stronic surf that I bought at the end of last year.
That's excellent, thank you. ππ I checked my Stronic Real manual, but I couldn't see anything. I have had another look on the intermaweb and I've managed to find this:
WARNING: The use of oils and creams (suntan lotion or sunscreen, lip care products, essential oils, coconut oil, and edible oils of all types) can cause irreversible damage to the control unit and the entire toy. Please DO NOT use any of the products listed above in combination with a FUN FACTORY toy. The use of any of these products with your toy may void your warranty.
(sorry it's a bit late, but if I miss one feel free to jump in and takeover. π If you search for 'chimp' the thread is normally somewhere near the top.)
Thank you Ian Chimp! I still rely on this reminder every month
How are the experiments going?
After the 24hr test I popped them in the silicone Happy Rabbit storage pouch and left them to it. I've just had a little check on them and they're exactly the same as they were going in. π
Yay! Thanks Ian I'd never remember to do this left to my own devices!
I've left a few out that haven't been played with for a while - it's almost as good as a new one arriving (but without the "is it going to be as good as the reviews say/will it work on me" anxiety).
With the forum being down next weekend in preparation for the shiny new one we'll miss the first Saturday of August, so I thought I'd pop a little early reminder in now. ππ
Well, I hope everyone remembered to check their toys over the weekend.
A useful thing about this new forum is that you can add this topic (/thread) to your bookmarks, and then you can set yourself a reminder. Iβm afraid itβs not a repeating one , but still, it might prove to be quite useful.
Most of mine arent rechargeable but this is definitely good info to know. I need a sort out of all my toys and see if theres anything i need to take care of
