Yeah, since coconut oil has become fashionable I’ve noticed several that aren’t just coconut oil. Lots have all kinds of stuff in them, including silicones.
It used to be hard to find decades ago when I first started using it, now it’s everywhere. But make sure you read the labels. I’ve seen some ‘pure’ coconut oil that lists it as a fourth or fifth ingredient!
The one I got simply says, ‘Our ingredients: Organic Virgin Coconut Oil’. It was just one from the cooking shelves of the supermarket. It was only about £3 for 300ml.
Maybe I should try the experiment again now we have super-amazing picture capabilities?

Hello everybody. Don’t worry, it’s not that time of the month yet, but this still needs a swish new Topic for the swish new forum. It’s been a bit ramshackle from the get-go, and it could do with having it’s OP tweaked with all the info we’ve discovered since we started doing it.
So, does anybody fancy taking it on?
Nooooo, this feels like it’s definitely your baby @Ian_Chimp. You have put a lot of hard work already into this thread so OWN IT!
(Obviously if you’re too busy at the moment then that’s different, but I feel you definitely would format it all in a very clear way that I know personally I wouldn’t be able to!)
Whoever takes it on, I think the main things to include (that I found useful anyway) would be:
- How often toys need charging
- How long to run toys for and whether this gets done before/after charging and also how often to run them
- A simple guide to the different batteries
- Other maintenance top tips
Think those were the main points I took away initially from this very helpful thread that has kept my toys buzzing away nicely

Loving this post @Ian_Chimp first time I’ve seen it…I’m gonna make sure we get them all out tonight (even though there no chance of much usage as it’s Shark Week currently…maybe I can get the wife interested in perhaps breaking out some of my toys for once!

It seems I may have set the bookmark reminder a touch early. I rarely know what day of the week it is, especially at this time of year. Headstart for the bank holiday?

I’m finally up and about (sort of), just in time to sort out my toys. I spent Christmas in bed and not in a good way (relapse of my condition put me completely out of action!).
I think it may be more of a first Saturday+ though. Thanks for the timely reminder once again. I definitely would not have remembered. I’ve not even had the energy to check out the DOTDs - a real sign of not being on top form!

I’ve been premature again though, and had to be told it’s still only Friday. But that gives us plenty of time to fit toy chores in ready to start the new year with a bang (and a fair bit of buzz for good measure ).
