Just to add though, only charge the ones that are dead. Don't charge all your toys every month. 🙂👍 And if they're just going back into storage only give them a partial charge to tide them over rather than a full one each time.

I put them away without charging if there's still life in them. I'm always pleasantly surprised when I find the toys that still have charge, though. The battery life on my Fun Factory and Je Joue toys is excellent. I'm in awe of how long they last.
@VR: your post really made me smile. My OH and I share some toys but it is mostly my thing. He likes it when I buy lingerie.
I have an image of all my recharable toys lined up in the bedroom charging - it would be quite a sight. Possibly grounds for divorce ;-) Maybe I will do it when everyone is out and post a photo here.
As it is, toys are all stashed away in 4 boxes for collections and in various drawers for odds and ends, and a rotating collection in the bedside drawer for easy access (always includes the Tango and Desire bullets, and a glass dildo, as I know we both like these). Got to look after each other as well as oneself.
I do have cleaners and I still tidy up before they arrive: I pay them to clean, not tidy up teenage undies and they can't hoover with lego on the floor. I get carer's allowance - I spend that on household help. Occasionally they have arrived early when the house is still a mess and they have just got on and sorted it. Angels.
OH is... unusual when it comes to lingerie. He likes it if I get the odd piece but doesn't encourage me. He says skin is lingerie enough. Me going out commando turns him on more than when I wear crotchless. He does like peephole bras but they're really hard to get hold of for larger breasts. I've one I keep for very special occasions that he LOVES, though.
Your cleaners sound lovely. My daughter loves cleaning so our place is always tidy. She always dusts and runs Hoover around when I'm at OH's as she knows I find it quite difficult (though OH is a bit of a neat freak - partly I think because his dragon mother calls in a lot!). She cleaned part-time when she was at uni and enjoyed mostly herself, though she learned her lesson with a single guy who assumed she was an easy target. He was struck off by the agency but only after 3 girls had complained!
Hi VR: I didn't know you had a daughter - what a star! I used to clean in my uni hols years (er... decades) ago, but I wouldn't do it voluntarily. Glad you have someone like that on side.
Hi Ian Chimp: I've been charging everything once a month 'do or die'! Handy to know that I don't always need to, unless they are 'dead in a ditch'. Anything I use actually goes to charge straight away, that night or that morning, so it's the other less well used stuff I'm thinking of... helpful hints as always.
Cleaners tomorrow, after 5 of us being at home on and off over the half term break. I'm REALLY ready for some peace, quiet and a tidy space to think in.And to try out my blue glass swirly thing :-)

My husband thought my wand wasn't vibrating properly, so he had to "try it out on my pussy to see what I thought". It was fine. Any excuse for him to play with me!

Thanks for the reminder. Ours have all been neglected over the festive season due to a hospital stay, so the litttle dears need some attention. As do our toys.
I have to say, though, that first Tuesday of the month works better for us - teens, friends and relatives tend to wander around at the weekend, cleaners on Mondays. :-) Great advice tho.
10am on the first Tuesday works for us. Seem to need an increasing amount of sockets!
Evening folks. It's not quite 1st saturday but have had a massive clear up/clear out this weekend and that included the toy box.
After moving everything to a nice, bigger, new box I've found myself with a conundrum with my lingerie. I'm getting quite the collection now what with all the sales and a few testers. However I don't have a scooby on how to store it. I've got everything from basques, body stockings, baby dolls to bra sets.
Has anyone got any tips or could share how they store theirs? I've got two nosey little ones so it's currently all squished in a box under the bed. I hate this and am also worried about any damage or rips and tears.
I've left the lingerie to Mrs Chimp to organise. As such it's pretty much in a giant ball, and she just peels off an outer layer whenever she wants to wear something. 🙂 I have tried to apply some order to the chaos, but it's hard going. Some bits are hung in the wardrobe (things with boning, etc). I've repurposed a couple of big Thornton's chocolate boxes with some added tissue paper and popped some favourite bra sets in. I got a decorative suitcase from this weird shop, and she's used that to stuff knickers and stockings in. To be honest, it's everywhere. Let me know if you come up with anything. 👍🙂
I've got an old art deco dressing table - two large wooden drawers with a mirror on top. The largest drawer is where I keep all of *that* lingerie, with basques, bodystockings, packs of hold-ups, wraps etc layered on top of each other. Doesn't make anything easy to find but it does mean it is all safe and in one place. The second drawer is for more boring everyday tights and underwear. Sometimes there is a bit of overlap.
Toys are in Lovehoney boxes under the bed, or in the bedside table.
I have teenage sons who would be more curious giggling over the toys (hence the boxes - locked) and the lube in the bathroom cabinet. I don't think I need to worry about them looking in my underwear drawer (?).
I heard back from We-vbe with some interesting advice which I thought I'd pass on here in case it helps anyone else (I've deleted the obvious stuff about making sure it is charging properly with clean connectors and the orange light on):
"We are sorry to hear you are having trouble with your Tango. Here are a few things you may try to solve the issue. Before trying the troubleshooting below, please hold down the on/off button for 10-15 seconds, this will reboot the unit and kick it out of any abnormal state. When taking off the charger wait 4 seconds before turning the unit on (there is a delay to protect the battery).
If the unit is fully charged when plugged in, the light will come on for approximately 10-15 minutes before determining the charge is complete and shutting off."

I know it isn't the first Saturday, but we're doing it early this month. I found we had put some in the wrong storage boc, so we had missed them last month (and probably the month before that too).
I also think it is good to remind you what toys you have, so some of your lesser used toys get an outing. I know some are replaced with better ones, but it is good to get creative in how to use toys.
