After hearing it at my friends funeral in my teens, it took me a long time to be able to listen to 'I want to Break Free" from queen.
For me, I really don’t know. Musical tastes have changed soo much over the years, maybe the full live version of Shine on You Crazy Diamond or Comfortably Numb from the pulse live album
For Mrs Sen, probably something from Violent Femmes or the Smiths

Love black velvet! Reminds me of a friend of my ex’s who sang it at a karaoke night in a local! She was amazing and it made me like her just a little bit

This is a brilliant thread. Why did I never come across it before?
My uncle was cremated but he forbade anyone going to the crematorium and refused to have any kind of service, instead the car with the coffin went to the crematorium by itself and everyone else went to a local pub, where he’d paid for a free bar and lots of food. There were a few tears over the course of the evening, I won’t lie, but everyone shared their memories of him and it was truly a celebration of his life. I’d like to have that.
(And I’m thinking it allows for a much longer playlist. Mwah haha!)

Interesting page with some good giggle, the countdown conundrum had me in stitches to start the giggles posts 
I’ll have a think but me and hubby always joke if we go before the parents they’ll end up arguing about who gets to flush us down the loo, neither side wanting the hassle. We’d probably be unclaimed with nobody realising that we were missing
If by miracle anyone does go then I don’t want any tears, remember the good times on that note- let the good times roll, I think that’s a toon

Hey Guys.
I began creating this topic as a response to “What music means to you” and then found it existed already. @Stacy2 would be proud of a five year old thread revival hehe. I had to pick the ones for my dad and it was really difficult. My list changes sometimes, but currently it is :
Walk in - “Speigel and Speigel” a lovely piano piece by Avro Part.
Reflection in middle - “Road To Your Soul” by All About Eve
Exit music - “Adagio For Strings” by Samuel Barber.*
The older I get the more classical it has become, always used to have an AC/DC, Pink Floyd or Tubeway Army/Numan on the list. If only you could have 100 pieces or more, but you can’t !
*I found out fairly recently that this is chosen by so many people, as it was in a film, but as I don’t really do tv or cinema I didn’t know. Loved it for decades, but might swap it to Peer Gynt instead now

That was what my Dad had for the recessional when he passed. It was him to a tee and a kick up the backside for me whenever I’m feeling the loss.
I’ve already decided Wreak Havoc by Skylar Gray. If you know me, and you know me, tit’s basically my mentality in a song 
Possibly the Gareth Gates’ version of Spirit In The Sky for the recessional because I’m occasionally stupid and stupid people do stupid things sometimes
