This 502 Bad Gateway problem has really got me frustrated and totally fed up with the site, I have had the problem virtually constantly over the last 4 days. I can seriously see me giving up the forum if the problem continues. Its not effecting the main site or any other sites I use.

@steve19 Iâm lucky that I cam stay logged in on my devices, and therefore havenât been affected, but I can fully agree that if I was seeing it, Iâd probably be taking a pause. We"d miss you if you werenât around. xx

I may try and stay logged in today. I only use a laptop. Iâm old school and only use my phone to make phone calls!! I will/would miss the forum as I have learnât so much and become far more open minded / willing to try so many things. @KinkyMira

Keep trying and stay with usâŚIâm sure theyâll sort it out. I struggled alot Thursday and was annoyed as I missed out on DOTD in frustrationâŚ
The forum would miss you too. Itâs been quieter these last few days⌠presume itâs the issue with signing inâŚhopefully itâll be up and running smoothly and back to ânormalâ soon.

Over the last 15+ years on my motorcycle forums we had similar problems as our membership grew . Four times that I remember they had to get bigger servers to handle the world wide volume . It usually involved the site being down for one to three days . Some members almost ;out their minds when the site was down , but the results were worth it .

Sorry if Iâve missed it but has anyone contacted LH and had a reply on why?

I think acouple of people mentioned that they contacted LH and were told to clear thier cookies and try again. It didnât work for me but i did manage to sign in last night. I wonder if it is simply too many people logging on at the same time. Iâm going to stay logged in over the weekend but will need to log back out for Monday.

I think the best advice is to stay logged in. I never log out, i just close the tab. So far i have had no trouble, either on my phone or laptop. With the phone i just tap the shortcut.
I canât remember how i got the shortcut, i think it was explained on here, and i followed the instructions, so maybe someone with more tech savvy than me could put up how to, so if others donât have the shortcut, they can get it?

Thatâs what I use on my phone, the shortcut. So much easier then logging into the site every time

They seem to be updating the system as @anon37546479 mentioned earlier, presumably as @Oldman suggested to accomodate more users. Iâm sure once the switch over is complete it will all work again though I can see how annoying it would be if you use a system that requires you to sign in each use.

They havenât even been rejected and still showing as pending. Iâm a little reluctant to try to post any more until this gets sorted to be honest, just in case I am breaking the rules and get a suspension or something!

You wonât get suspended, as theyâre moderated before posting. I have had pics refused cos they were a bit too revealing, so i pixellate anything i think might be against the rules.
As i said Brenna is on holiday and another lady is stepping in, but as they only work Mon-Friday office hours, she may have been too busy with her other work. So all i can say, is wait and see what happens when Brenna returns, which may be Monday.

If you go to the page on chrome (or whichever browser you use on your phone) and click on the 3 little dots or whichever you have for options, there should be one that says âadd to home screenâ and this will give you an app like webpage

Oh no! I thought the issue was solved but I tried logging in using an email and got the bad gateway thing again.
Iâm still logged in on my phone though so at least that works!

Hi @Lovehoney_Brenna welcome back I hope you had a lovely break. Last week the error message 502 Bad Gateway was really bad but seems to be connected to traffic (lunch time on wards is worse as the US come on line. I thought it was better over the weekend and today though. Good luck with it.
Iâve been testing it out, and it seems to be working better. 
I donât think itâs âfixedâ fixed yet, as it still seems a little slow, but it doesnât time out on me and give me a Bad Gateway. So whatever workaround theyâve tried does seem to be working. 
How about everyone else? Does this sound like what youâre seeing when you try and log in?

It does seem better but yesterday I was getting Bad Gateway during the afternoon but was fine in morning and late last night. I think its a traffic problem. It may be that too many users trying to access. Some have said they remain logged in constantly. This may work but at the same time may be contributing to the problem. If it is the system needs a auto sign out if a user has not used for say 15 minutes. @Ian_Chimp
