Hi everyone,

I'd love to buy the Magic Wand, but I live in South Africa.
If I get a power converter, would it drain power from the wand, like what happens to the Hitachi?

Hi BB Suggest you email Technical Help at LH. Hope it's viable, as the magic wand is a great buy with the UK's 240 volts buzzing through it !!

I think that depends on the current that runs through your sockets in South Africa. Here in the UK it is 230V and in America it is about half of that. Some things like hair dryers seem to suffer if you take them to places with a different voltage because they just cant get the right amount of power.

South Africa uses 230v 50hz A/C, same as the UK.

In theory at least.
