We have a very similar item to your second link and yeah it does a decent job. I haven't tried the Oil you have linked. I have both. Good choices. Sliquid massage oils are my favourite.
Just reading this, thinking "Oh to have a wand that could sort out a pain in the back / bum!" - I'm not sure if it would actually work though!

I have a few wands 😅 They don’t help with my back pain, but they do help relax my neck muscles.

Hello I have my own massage oil but for Christmas I bought my wife the hot rock stones that you warm use on your partner. My wife really likes these and the warmth helps the muscles to relax and with the light pressure you apply feels really nice. You follow the simple instructions to heat them up and lubricante with oil (baby oil is ok.) just communicate with your partner how hard she wants you to apply.
