Yeah it’s normal if you have the sort of friends where you are all comfortable with each other. I remember doing it when I was younger we were all close good friends.

Ask yourself what is normal?
Sex & sexuality are whatever you feel comfortable doing with whoever and whenever you feel like it within your own boundaries. Normal for one person might be weird or tame to another. Enjoy your own body, whenever you like.

If you mean by ‘normal’ do a lot of friends do it, then my guess would be not many, although perhaps more than you’d think?? Dunno. But if you’re both comfortable with it and you have a great bond of trust between you, then why not?

It’s not something I do regularly at all but I have masturbated when a female friend who I’ve known since teenage years has been around before. We have talked about vibrators, masturbation and sex topics in general so are pretty open with each other. I think i have been unintentionally sexually biased.
If a male friend wanted to masterbate in front of me, i would not be happy with that.
Cant imagine growing up with a friend and that just being the normal thing either.
So i hold my hands up and admit to accepting double standards.
Being part of a M/F sexal group having fun would be different.
I accept i may be be criticised on this point.
I think thats my point, but this may be described as a shallow male attitude. 
The couple that we swing with, we have been known to be just chatting about things while casually wanking ourselves. Gets us ready for things to come later on.

Been meaning to share this. Last week me and a friend of mine had plans to meet for lunch. I was to meet him at his office, which he runs a non profit and has his own private office with a small reception area and then his office which is enclosed. When I arrived he was in his office and since he was expecting me I gave a quick knock on the door and walked in. There he was stark naked watching porn on his computer and whacking off.
