Just what I needed

This Wand is perfect the power the vibration modes and the texture and digital screen. Managed to squirt for the first time using this wand. My only problem was the toy broke inside after around a year of use. It seemed to disconnect the vibration would clatter inside making it very loud but it is still usable just noisier.

This tentacle is my first fantasy toy! I’ve been locked in a world of realistic dildos or experimenting with buzzy, vibrating friends for a long time, so to see Lovehoney stocking something a little obscure, I jumped at the chance to have my own.

When I look at some of the other fantasy toys stocked online, they’re larger than life; not only in design and mysticality, but some in size too. I had my reservations about this tentacle but having seen the size of its box and removing it, I was very pleasantly relieved (and satisfied) to see a somewhat modest and humble intermediate-friendly dildo. A very beautiful one at that, with a sea of blues and greens amongst suckers and bumps and grooves.

I consider this intermediate-friendly due to the texture, the suckers, the curves, and tapered shaft that descends into a thick base, or what some may consider “a challenge.” As a newbie to texture to this degree, it definitely took some getting used to to begin with. Even now, I choose to insert it facing a particular way as that’s most comfortable for my body. Its tapered body is ideal as a slow introduction to the toy, while also making it easily insertable with a little water-based lube. With these factors considered, and the fact the soft silicone material makes for a very flexible toy with plenty of “give,” it’s also ideal for anal play.

I’ve road tested this toy many times, and one thing that never fails to impress is not only being able to feel each single sucker or groove, but you can hear it too. With lube applied, it’s a great toy to grind against to really feel everything the toy has to offer.

The tentacle also boasts a very strong suction cup base. I’ve suckered it to a mirror, the wardrobe and even the fridge. I’ve found it does leave a little tell-tale mark afterwards which may leave some questions needing to be answered (and trust me, the fridge was a tricky one to answer).

I’d definitely suggest taking care when cleaning, ensuring it’s cleaned thoroughly as there’s a lot of grooves and dips to navigate. I left the toy to dry naturally, even suctioning it to the bathroom tiles where it remained until I was ready to put it away (and by “away,” I mean as somewhat of a centrepiece on my desk because it’s just incredibly pretty as well as conducive to play.)

Lovehoney vintage Bliss Ivory Lace Open-Back Basque Set

Bliss.

As an owner and lover of the Vintage Bliss skirted body and bra set, I just had to complete the collection and get the basque set too.

At size 10 on top, 12 bottoms, 36C and 5ft6, I received this set in size Medium. Although the basque is boned and has a beautiful mix of different delicate materials, it has a good element of stretch and fits just fine! The back has a number of hook and eye fastenings which supports getting on/off easier and allows some adjustability, along with the shoulder straps and band on the g-string. For a lingerie piece that isn’t size specific, I found my boobs fit the cups well and even appeared a little boosted, as well as well support by the underwire.

The basque is beautiful; it’s classic, it’s elegant, it’s incredibly feminine and soft. The gentle lace and mesh materials, the scalloped detailing and the pearlescent “buttons” all add to the overall demure look. The colour scheme is soft and beautifully pairs with a pair of white or nude stockings.

The overall shaping of the basque enables a very snug fit; it sits tight against the body with the boning adding structure. The boning isn’t uncomfortable or too stiff unlike some other basques.

The open-back is a lovely feature, particularly the corset-style detailing. I would prefer this if you could tie it with two ends, however it does work how it is and still looks divine.

Overall I really adore this set, just like I have with the others. I’d personally only change the strip of ribbon that sits across the waist; it almost appears unfinished and a little out of place compared to the high quality standard of the rest of the set.

Obsessive Lonesia Red Lace Embroidered Underwire Bra Set

Not Quite Obsessed

To begin with, this set required a little bit of trial and error. At size 10/36C on top and 12 bottoms, I sit somewhere between the S/M and the L/XL. I initially received the L/XL (12-14) and very quickly realised that this was a no-go for my body size. The bra was too big and was baggy rather than sexy. I exchanged for the S/M (8-10) and this fit practically perfectly (despite my how-will-my -size-12-booty-fit-into-size-8-bottoms concerns).

I needn’t have worried about the sizing of the knickers; although they aren’t adjustable, they provide a good amount of stretch, and despite the keyhole features to the front, they still provide decent coverage.

The S/M bra, as mentioned, was a far better fit. I wore it on the loosest set of hook and eye fastenings and adjusted the shoulder straps a little to keep the fit snug against the body. The materials are stretchy, although the cups are underwired so there isn’t much leniency in sizing in this department, however on my body it sits really well. I would say the set looks a lot better on the model than on myself, and somewhat different, however she is fuller busted. I find the mesh material that climbs to the shoulders are a little too thick and would probably suit bigger boobies better! My boobs, however, do feel very secure and still look great!

The style of the lace probably isn’t what I’d normally choose to wear; I don’t think it’s particularly sexy, although I do enjoy the edging that sits against the ribs.

The entire set is made to a great standard. Thought and detail has evidently gone into all aspects, and it’s a set that will take a lot of wear, no doubt.

I don’t want to leave a review without mentioning the packaging. The set arrives folded neatly within tissue paper within a box, which is then housed within a sleeve. It’d make a wonderful gift!
