Noise of neighbours having sex: turn-on or creep-out?

Inspired by Emma’s post here:

When you hear the sound of neighbours/flatmates/other hotel guests having a damn good time through the wall, does it get your juices flowing or have you reaching for the earplugs?

I think there should be an ‘Other’ option!
I don’t mind if it’s a reasonable time, but if someone is loudly praising the lord at 3am then it can be quite irritating!

I thought not! :joy:

6am 12pm 9pm 3am I don’t care if someone’s having fun u crack on!

Haven’t had this pleasure for a couple of years now but remember when we had an old flat the neighbours never had much of a lengthy session.

I’ve always hated hearing other people, it bothers me and makes me uncomfortable especially if its loud and over the top. I think I’m more old fashioned and like to keep my sex noises discreet as possible. My OH can be pretty vocal and tell him to keep it down LOL

I’ve been heard a few times but that’s been by accident, walking past my room or assuming others are asleep and even then its not loud.

It’s usually a turn-on for me: free audio porn! I remember, many years ago, staying the weekend with friends - a couple in their 20s. On the Sunday morning I awoke slowly from the most delicious erotic dream - so intense, in fact, that I awoke to find I’d come! When I was fully conscious I realised that the soundtrack to my dream had been provided by my hosts, who were f**king noisily in the room next to mine - bless 'em!

Turn on for me but awkward as you know who they are and how they act outside of the house/unit etc

I think it would be a real turn on … The only problem is we are the ones that are making all the noise … Exspecailly when she starts with her rabbit vibrator…

I don’t hear others often but when I do/the few times I have it’s always been a turn on. In truth it’s probably us making the noise though, apparently we’re rather loud.

Before I started having sex I would be running for the earplugs. Now I generally just find it funny. If it’s a housemate they’ll get a knowing look in the morning but to be honest I have a squeaky bed so am not subtle when I have someone over either.

to be honest id be happy if I was getting sex, can always rely on some self loving if nothing else works.

When I was at Uni living in halls it was a regular sound haha. You kinda just get used to it :joy:

I’ve never heard it but to be fair it would be a turn on.

It doesn’t bother me too much to be honest, I find it more intruiging than a turn on though. Feel like you get to hear a different side to people that you wouldn’t otherwise, although I do find myself becoming a bit too judgy if the rhythm goes off or something :joy:

I used to work in a hotel and it was a regular thing hearing the guests going at it. Had a few times when their neighbours would call reception and complain about noises from next door

Hope I never catch my neighbour having sex, EDITED BY MOD. Sexist, racist, prejudiced know all, bitter and twisted,EDITED BY MOD

I voted juices but we never hear our neighbours as they have loads of little kids. Maybe I should ask my neighbours and let them vote :joy::joy::joy:

We used to hear people in our old flat and then have a competition to be louder and more excited.

But now we are in a house we don’t hear anyone however we are VERY loud ourselves. We both are. And our bedroom window is always open so people definitely hear us!
