I'd like to unequivocally say that the Pasante Unique ones are completely pants; like putting a plastic bag over your bits.
Is it possible that you either had a duff batch of the Avanti, or that you are larger than average? In the case of the latter, you can get "large" condoms. (I wish I had known this with my previous partner, would have saved a lot of hassle!)
Or you could try the femidom (assuming you're having vaginal sex with a lady of course), which is non latex.
