Rant Thread - Get it all out here

@Cuffed Thank you so much for your concern. I’m okay, I have my ups and downs. I feel sometimes the faults with me, and that I’m not pleasing him anymore. He assured me it’s not the reason but I can’t help but feel it is. Mental health sucks, and I don’t and never would blame him for it as it can’t be helped and I try to be so understanding with him? I also try to get him to talk to me which always fails. I just wish he wasn’t cold with me. I’ve started to look after myself a little bit more, exercises and eating healthy, I’m not labelling it a diet as it always falls through when I put myself on a diet! how are you? Xx

I acknowledge my comments may not have helped @Rae1 but please know we are all one abstract family. Diets are a pain in the rear end, however eating healthy and doing exercise is always a plus in my books. You know your OH better than any of us here and I appreciate that you’re trying to help given what you have and also the current enviorment.
Please dont be so critical of yourself as that will e eventually affect your own mood and mental health. Im doing ok and at least im upright and walking.

@Cuffed your comments have helped! I thank you for that! He does take his medication but I think he skips them now and then I can just tell! With the sadness I feel I’m focusing on mysef more by doing th exercises and healthy eating, It helps to set myself a goal! I haven’t seen my family in months, and I’m hoping the next time I do see them theyll notice a change in me

Are you able to facetime or Skype with your family ? Yes they sort of things are perfect but sometimes we have to make do with what we have

Took me ages to get home, seems a lot of traffic, assuming it’s people having a last hurrah before Thursday!

I was in town yesterday and it was really busy, people commenting in the shops about it being like a xmas rush! No panic buying as such just people getting things that they won’t be able to go out and buy over the next month. I was buying trainers…something I can’t do online because of having to try them on :slightly_smiling_face:

The amount of people round our way that took up jogging during the last lockdown was phenomenal! I wonder if that’ll kick off again or maybe the cold weather will put them off?

Cold weather jogging well at least it gives you somewhere to hang your coat to dry off :rofl::rofl:

That’s where I focus the most with joggers lol but that will not surprise you at I don’t think lol

Jogging and cycling by me, got sick of the cyclists on my work journey down country lanes! :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I think B&Q closed last time so, as you say people probably don’t want to take the risk this time round. Pretty much every other person I saw had rolls of Xmas wrapping paper sticking out of their bag!

Someone family knows is a carer in a care home and took a covid test, tests clearly says to NOT go out until you get results, he manager forced her to go in regardless, test ended up coming back positive.

Irresponsible manger and told her to her her reported!

Care homes should all have whistleblowing procedures. If she feels unable to do it, I’d suggest doing it yourself. Can be done anonymously. Very unsafe and irresponsible of the manager!

Im not sure of what laws you have in the UK but most states here in Australia have laws covering those who are whistle blowers. These people should be covered under the premise that they haven’t broken any laws themselves.

Super quiet on the roads / nearest shopping centre here today. I needed to pick up a prescription and bulk-buy dog food - I thought we had more in, but we ran out yesterday. The other 3 people in Pets at Home were bulk buying, too.
I also had to pick up a laptop from a school - they are still open but asking parents to pick up laptops for remote learning…
Lots of fireworks going off - I guess people are having displays in their gardens because events have been called off. I like the colourful ones, but I have a child and a dog who are scared of big bangs.

My dog being stressed out is stressing me out. Why are modern fireworks so damn noisy? When i was a kid, they were more about the look than the sound.
