Mystim Electro-Sex Unit

The device is a dual channel electro-sex box which comes with four adhesive electrode pads. It has heavily customisable settings and a variety of different modes. The intensity of each channel can be controlled independently. Sadly, it’s not possible to set the mode, pulse width, etc. for each channel individually. It would be nice if you could!
It comes with a (smallish) plastic case lined inside with rigid foam. There are spaces inside for the control unit, a battery, the electrodes and the instruction manual. The rigidity of the foam means that it can be a little difficult to get the unit out if you push it all the way in. However, it’s nice to be able to keep the kit all together and protected, though it’d be nice if there was a little more space for accessories.
A 9v battery was included in the box, meaning I was ready to go just as soon as I’d read the manual. It’s well worth reading as it explains all of the features of the device in detail; this will come in handy for finding your perfect settings. The language of the manual is a little strange at times. Mystim are a German company from what I’ve read and I suspect the manual was translated from German to English. Still, it’s understandable and does the job.
The electrodes included with the unit are of good quality. They’ve been used rather a few times now and are still working and sticking well. I have quite hairy appendages and have found that the pads adhere strongly enough to work but weakly enough not to give me a patchy waxing. Phew! There are four electrodes in the box and they are used in pairs; one is the positive terminal and the other is negative. The manual contains a few creative placement ideas.
The unit uses Mystim’s own proprietary connections and cables, which means that without adapters (if they exist) it is not possible to use anything but Mystim accessories. That’s rather a shame - it would have been nice to have a large range of choice, especially as Mystim’s accessories are quite expensive. Some are equal or greater in cost than the control unit itself!
As mentioned above, the control unit has a number of different modes: some modulate pulse width, or frequency, or intensity, or some combination of these. When switching between modes the unit reduces intensity to a near minimum level and then slowly brings it back to its original level over a period of around ten seconds. This helps to avoid an unexpected change in sensation.
The unit is quite powerful, especially considering that a single 9v battery powers it. With one electrode on my wrist and the other on my bicep I experienced involuntary muscle contraction which I struggled to resist at around the 8/9 out of 11 mark on the intensity dial. That was very interesting to test, and the feeling of complete helplessness was exciting.
Sensation-wise, the product is excellent. Electro-sex is exciting, fun and diverse. You can cause intense pleasure or delicious pain with great ease. If you like either this is a product worth getting without a doubt.

Pros: Very intense, very different, very fun.
Cons: Attachment/accessory prices.
Bottom Line: Everyone should own at least two!
