Pink Mouth Fleshlight

Slow and steady wins the race

In the modern world we are bombarded with stimulation. We receive hundreds of text messages and dozens of emails; our televisions receive countless channels. Everyone demands instant gratification. Whatever happened to taking it slow? Sometimes the best things take time. This is a concept that the designers of the Pink Mouth Fleshlight seem to have taken to heart.

First impressions: well packaged and sturdy. Inside the box is a discreet black torch (‘Flashlight’) shaped case and a soft insert. The insert (which is deceptively heavy) can be easily removed for cleaning. There are caps at both ends (one controls suction and the other conceals the insert when not in use) and the toy can be easily and discreetly stored away when not in use without raising any eyebrows. The case is also grooved so that the Fleshlight can be easily used with (the inevitable) lube covered fingers. It’d make a good addition to a travel bag if you’re traveling alone on business, for example.

Most male masturbators are designed on the same principle: more stimulation means more fun and, accordingly, they tend to be very tight and highly textured. This means that you always get an exciting orgasm but, somehow, it feels wrong: everything is too intense and it’s all over too fast. It’s all a bit forced and artificial. You know that feeling you get just before you orgasm? You know the one. That feeling you get when you’re right on the brink and all you want to do is roll your head back, close your eyes and grit your teeth with pleasure? Wouldn’t it be nice if it lasted longer? How about a few minutes? How about half an hour? This is just what the designers of the Pink Mouth have managed to do. They’ve managed to produce a toy that gently takes you right to the brink of orgasm and allows you to stay just inside the pleasure zone. It’s great. Don’t be fooled by the Fleshlight’s apparent simplicity; this toy is capable of delivering jaw dropping pleasure.

As you lube it up and slide in, you feel its big thick lips slide over your penis and watch as you vanish inside. Initially, you don’t feel much at all but it’s not a case of there being nothing to feel, it’s more a case of learning to tune in and notice the subtle sensations that the toy offers. Unlike many other masturbators, there are no bumps or ridges in the interior: this toy is all about being slow and sensual. As you thrust in and out, you feel a wet, velvety smooth ride and a pleasant, but not overpowering, tightness. As you continue to pump, you notice how the sensations change and, after a while, the Fleshlight feels almost organic. There’s still no overt stimulation, but it’s definitely there: there’s a gorgeous wet stickiness as you slide in, a soft massaging action all around your head and shaft as you pump, a little resistance on the upstroke and a gentle suction as you pull out. Close your eyes and you can almost imagine that there’s a real mouth gently sucking away.

Eventually, something strange happens: your penis becomes more sensitive. The head starts to tingle and you feel like crying out in pleasure with every stroke. A smile spreads across your face as each thrust becomes hugely satisfying. You’re taken right to the brink of orgasm and despite the overwhelming pleasure, you’re in complete control. It’s never too much. You can enjoy the ride without ever fearing that you’re going to let go. I was able to hold this state for at least half an hour (and could have probably gone on for longer) until I decided to finish the job by hand. Even with vigorous pumping, there wasn’t quite enough stimulation to get me off (I expect that it could have done it eventually but I wasn’t patient enough).

After you’re done, the unit is easy to clean: run it under hot soapy water and let it dry.

One slight downside is that the Pink Mouth does have a tendency to eat lube and you should expect to have to stop and re-lube several times during a long session. It’s also a bit noisy (it sounds a little like someone unblocking a sink) and you might want to bear this in mind if privacy is important to you.

Some guys may also find the Pink Mouth to be a little too gentle (especially circumcised guys, who tend to be a little less sensitive). I found the gentleness to be part of the appeal, but some may find that it takes a bit of time to get used to (especially if you’re used to masturbating with a very tight grip).

I thoroughly enjoyed the Pink Mouth and greatly preferred it to the TENGA Onacup that I used in the past (far too tight, far too rough). A possible alternative to the Pink Mouth would be one of the Wonderwave Fleshlights (which I’ve also used before). The Wonderwave and the Pink Mouth are similar in tightness and the Wonderwave also allows you to edge for long periods but it deliver a little more stimulation which some may prefer. But, in some ways, the two Fleshlights are quite different (the silky smoothness of the Pink Mouth is really wonderful and quite different to the soft ribbing in the Wonderwave) and it would be hard to recommend one over the other.

Your mileage may vary, but I think it’s great.

After using the Pink Mouth, it’s hard not to think that there’s more to sex than orgasms. Sometimes the journey is better than the destination.

Overall Rating: 9 out of 10 stars

Pros: Silky softness.

Cons: Quite large, eats lube, a bit noisy, I found it a bit too gentle.

Bottom Line: Great fun and infinitely better than your hand.
