Lelo Luna Duo Pleasure Beads

Very impressed

With the success of Fifty Shades of Grey, Lelo impresses again by releasing a modified version of its original Luna Beads: Luna Beads Noir.

Unlike the original Luna with its petal blue and pink colours, Luna Noir is in a sleek black; but as usual, this Lelo product comes in luxurious, discreet packaging along with a satin pouch for storage, a sachet of lube and also 1 year warranty.

I am a 23-year-old female and have never had a child, so I am mainly using this product to intensify my orgasms, and I also find the idea of using Kegel balls as foreplay very arousing (no one knows you are wearing something inside and you can surprise your partner!). I have been doing Kegel exercises but if there is a product that is so easy to use why not give it a go? So I think Luna Beads are perfect for someone a bit lazy like me.

With a bit of lube and a gentle firm push, the beads slide in quite easily, but make sure that it is sitting above the PC muscles. After inserting the jiggle balls even with slight movements I can feel the metal balls moving inside the plastic outer case causing delicious vibrations that immediately turns me on. This makes Luna Noir a great toy for foreplay as well because I would already be wet making it a pleasant surprise for my partner. For the purpose of Kegel exercise, the two weighted balls make your PC muscles contract and allow for a work out in order to keep the balls from falling out. Even though the Luna beads can be worn while you go on about your daily routines, I prefer wearing them at home while exercising since sneezing can cause them to fall out. Lelo (in the instruction booklet) recommends using the product 30 minutes a day and it can take up to 12 weeks to see noticeable results. I have noticed that since doing Kegel exercises every day and using the Luna beads system I have gained better control of my Kegel muscles during sex, but I haven’t done that long enough to notice my orgasms being longer and more intense so I will persist in using the beads.

The quality of the product is also very high: the holder is made of medical grade silicone and is very smooth to touch, while the plastic jiggle balls are sealed using ultrasonic welding so you can safely boil beads to clean them without damaging the product, though I find that Luna Beads can be easily cleaned by using antibacterial soap and rinsing under warm water, and/or using a sex toy cleaner spray. Also, if you are worried about not being able to take the Luna beads out, there is a cord for retracting the jiggle balls so you can always have a peace of mind!

I have tried both the original and the Noir version of Luna, and personally prefer Noir since I find the original one on the larger side so insertion takes a little bit more time and the size of Luna Noir is more comfortable for me (3.9 inches in circumference as opposed to 4.65 inches in the original). There is also Luna mini which is a hybrid of the two: the jiggle balls are the same size as Luna Noir, but like the original Luna it contains a set of 4 balls of different weight (two 37g and two 29g) so you can better plan your work out. I haven’t personally tried Luna Mini, but have read reviews on LH that the metal balls make a rattling sound when worn. I am guessing Lelo has addressed this problem in Luna Noir by encasing the metal balls in silicone (like the original variety) as I don’t hear any noise when wearing the beads.

So depending on your needs, there is something for everybody in the Luna range. I would definitely recommend Luna Noir to any women who wants to improve their sex life as it is both great for strengthening your PC muscles (=more intense orgasms) and for during foreplay and sex, or whatever tickles Mr Grey’s fancy

Fleshlight Sex in a Can Lady Lager

Feels great

I bought Fleshlight’s Lady Lager after having owned several full sized Fleshlights. My main reasons for choosing Lady Lager were that I wanted a more discreet (and less bulky) sex toy to take on business trips abroad and I was also very eager to try Fleshlight’s Lotus texture without forking out too much money. Lady Lager ticked both boxes so I ordered one!

It is a well built product (as are all the other Fleshlights I have owned). It feels fantastic in use, especially when pre-warmed. I love that it is smaller and lighter than a full sized Fleshlight yet feels just as good. The Mini Lotus texture conjures up some fantastic sensations and I have found that you can stroke within different zones of the texture and you really notice the difference in sensations. Lovehoney Magic Wand Massager

I received this as a gift from my boyfriend a couple of months ago. I intended to review it earlier, but I just haven’t been able to leave the bedroom since then!

Seriously, though, this is the best vibrator I own. I sometimes think it’s the best one I’ll ever own.

I haven’t used it on my own yet because of how loud it is… I live in a shared house and don’t particularly want my housemates knowing how often I masturbate. But I use it with my boyfriend and… it’s incredible. It actually is. I’m somebody who can find it difficult to hit that sweet spot, but the wand does it just right. I usually need to be restrained because I wriggle about so much from the power of it. And gagged so I don’t scream the house down.

I agree wholeheartedly with anybody who’s ever said that this is the best vibrator you can get. It can get you from 0 to O in no time at all, and it’s so easy to use. There are a couple of negatives, but they’re easy enough to overlook. One is that the grooves around the edge are tricky to clean, and seeing as it isn’t a waterproof toy, you should probably invest in some sex toy cleaning wipes for this. The other is that if you use it for too long, especially on the highest setting, it can make you quite numb down there, which may be an issue if you’re using this toy as a foreplay tool and intend to still have full feeling for further play. That’s just proof of how powerful the toy is, though. The cable is a perfect length for me, as I have a plug socket right by my bed, but other people may need an extension lead in order to get it to reach.

MY.SIZE 69mm Condoms (3 Pack)

Too Much Of A Good Thing

I wouldn’t say I’ve been with anyone particularly small in the past, but I certainly haven’t been with anyone who was unusually large either. This changed when I met my boyfriend and we found that conventional condoms just didn’t fit - they were far too tight to roll down comfortably and were not long enough to avoid the risk of it coming off inside me.

Whilst on the one hand this gave us both a slight thrill (him for the ego boost; me because whilst size really doesn’t matter it is a nice bonus), we soon discovered that it might be a genuine problem. Even the largest big name brand condoms (e.g. Durex XL) would not fit him properly. They were longer than the normal ones, so at least rolled all the way down, but the nominal girth is at most 56mm and it was something of a downer for me when he told me that he couldn’t feel himself inside me unless we were moving because the ring at the end of the condom was so tight on him. My favourite position is to sit in his lap facing him with our legs wrapped around each other so we can kiss and gently rock back and forth, but although this is very intimate and sensual it doesn’t involve a lot of thrusting - I was upset to realise that though he could enjoy it emotionally this didn’t feel nearly as good to him physically as it did to me.

Since we are both STD-free I was ready to suggest we look at hormonal contraception (e.g. the pill IUD implant or injection) but he was unhappy at the thought of me having to put chemicals into my body just to allow us to have safe sex and insisted we try other brands of larger condom before taking that step. We found these on Lovehoney and decided to try them out before admitting defeat since these appear to be the widest condoms commercially available.

When they arrived I was excited to see that the ring in the packet seemed to be significantly larger than a standard condom ring and when it came time to use them I was delighted when it rolled straight down instead of needing to be almost forced as even the so-called large and king sized condoms of other brands had to be. But the really wonderful moment was the first moment when he entered me - to see the look of sheer joy on his face made it some of the best sex we’ve had. I don’t think I realised how much it was bothering me that he wasn’t getting the full experience until that moment when the problem was solved and I felt like a weight had been lifted.

All in all I am incredibly impressed with these condoms and I love that they do all different sizes. My only complaints would be that whilst I’m sure Lovehoney don’t sell too many of them (most guys will fit the standard since that’s why they’re that size) it’s a shame that not all the sizes are available, only 47 and 69, and that there are not larger boxes than packs of 3 (seeing as the company does make larger boxes).

If like us you don’t feel that alternative contraception is quite right and would prefer to use properly-fitting condoms then MySize are absolutely perfect. My boyfriend mentioned that they do feel a little thicker than some others but that because they were so comfortable that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing as it allowed him to last longer.

I haven’t had much luck with combination G-spot and clitoral vibrators. With any vibrator like that your anatomy has to fit it just right. I haven’t found one that does fit me like that, but the size and shape of the BiMINI Ocean seemed to have the greatest chance yet of being my glass slipper, so I thought I would give it a try.

There are many things that I absolutely love about the BiMINI Ocean. It’s silicone with a plastic base, waterproof, rechargeable, multi-speed and multi-pattern. It’s small enough that it’s non-threatening, but large enough that it gives definite stimulation. The deep blue colour is gorgeous and a wonderful departure from the standard candy pink that is so common in many toys. The two gentle curls (one for G-spot stimulation, one for clitoral stimulation) are stylised and have a definite unique prettiness about them. There is a very small amount of give to the silicone, but the vibrator overall is fairly firm.

Typically, I really like my toys to have a significant amount of power to them. Although the vibrations of the BiMINI Ocean aren’t over the top the way they are in the Hitachi Magic Wand, they are still powerful and deep. On it’s highest setting, the BiMINI Ocean definitely has some oomph, but be warned! Although this vibrator is relatively quiet, it’s far from being a nearly silent hum the way other luxury vibrators are. You would definitely be able to hear this in the same room and through the covers of your bed, and perhaps even from behind a closed door if you listen carefully. If you live with others that you don’t want to know you own a vibrator, it’s best to put on some music to drown out the sound.

Now, back to how it fits. I’m sorry to say that this one did not fit me just right. If I tilted it so it hit my G-spot right, the clitoral nub moved. If I repositioned the clitoral nub, the G-spot curl moved. However, that doesn’t mean that it’s useless. One of the reasons I bought it is to use as just an external clitoral vibrator in case it didn’t work as a combination G-spot/clitoral vibrator. I’m happy to say that the BiMINI Ocean makes an excellent clitoral vibrator. It’s small and soft enough that it is perfect to use as an external vibrator for intercourse, especially in the woman-on-top positions, which is how we use it now.

I honestly wasn’t expecting much when I bought these. The Doc Johnson James Deen Signature Realistic Dildo Vibrator is moulded directly from adult film star James Deen himself. As such, it offers a great amount of detail and would be the perfect accompaniment to make those James Deen fantasies feel a little more real.

The box has a flap on the front which opens like a book to preview what’s inside. The dildo is made from very firm silicone and has a lot of drag to it, so it should be used with plenty of water-based lubricant.

This dildo comes supplied with a bullet vibrator which measures 5 inches in length and 2 inches in circumference. There is an internal cavity built into the shaft of the dildo to allow for the bullet to be inserted through the base of the toy.

The bullet vibrator takes 2 AAA batteries and has three speeds, which are controlled by a single push button. The vibrations are constant but increase with intensity as you scroll through the levels, but you have to scroll through all three to turn the vibrations off. The buzzy, loud vibrations are mostly directed in the tip of the bullet and don’t seem to transmit very well through the thick silicone shaft of the dildo.

The internal chamber that houses the bullet sucks it in like a vacuum which makes it very difficult to remove, even if you apply lubricant or cornstarch (a sachet is provided) beforehand. You need to pull it out by slowly twisting and tugging it, so make sure to leave enough room to grip the bullet properly or you’ll only be unscrewing the battery cap.

The bullet is made from plastic with a rubber seal to keep water from getting into the battery compartment, so it can be safely used in the bath or shower.

There is a Doc Johnson logo on the bottom of the shaft which collects dirt and is difficult to clean. Luckily silicone toys can be boiled, which cleans and sterilises them. Be careful to remove the bullet first, however.

This James Deen dildo comes supplied with a large drawstring bag to store it in when not in use. It is extremely spacious, measuring 15 x 8 inches, but leaves black strands on the dildo which is a bit of a nuisance.

Fun Factory Cobra Libre Luxury Male Vibrator

The Cobra Libre is one of a kind. Up until recently, the market for male sex toys has had a decidedly… seedy atmosphere about it. It is a product capable of dispelling all prejudices that one might have about toys for men. It is stylish, well made and most importantly… It’s completely devoid of that ‘creepy-factor’ that puts many men off.

Not only that, but it feels great. (Although it does have some problems.)

The packaging:

The Cobra Libre comes in a really nice box. It is embossed, has matte bits, vinyl bits and most importantly, is incredibly tasteful. No ‘seductive’ photos of scantily-clad models holding the device here! Just a to-scale photo of the device and some relevant information. They even have a little photo of a male torso, presumably to reiterate to the potential buyer that if you don’t have a penis, you’re not going to have a great time with this device. They also remind you that you’re going to need to buy a charger separately, which Lovehoney kindly provide free of charge.

The device:

So, once you get over the excitement of the box, you’re sure to venture inwards and meet the device itself. As you might have gathered from my gushing earlier, I rather like it.

What you will strike you first is the concept car-esque design. It took me a while to get over this, as I initially found it a bit silly. However, I very quickly learned to see past this.

In one’s hand, the Cobra Libre feels pleasingly sturdy. There is no hint of cheapness or corner-cutting, which is to be expected from a high end device such as this. The body is made of high quality plastic, with the majority of the body being matte (but not rubberised) plastic with smooth, shiny reflective plastic making the control panel.

This is not, however, the part that we are really interested in. Any guy would be somewhat sceptical about placing his member in a device that looks rather like it has the ability to drive off with it and quite rightly so. But never fear - the silicone opening is also of excellent quality. I’m very impressed that the designers resisted the urge to turn it into a creepy mouth. Well done Fun Factory. Not only that, but it’s incredibly easy to clean. Once you’re finished with it, you can simply turn it upside down and most of the semen will pour right out of it. It will still need a rinse, but owing to the fact that this device is entirely waterproof, this is trivial. The inside is also smooth, so there are no nooks or crannies for ‘dirt’ to accumulate. It is a LITTLE bit small, however. While I have a slightly larger than average penis, I could imagine guys with smaller willies feeling the same way.

One pleasant surprise is how they implemented charging the device. I was expecting there to be two contact points for the magnetic charger, but Fun Factory quite cleverly used their metal “FUN” logo at the back as the charging points. This is where my enthusiasm for the charger ends, however. While it isn’t a deal-breaker, the ability for the charger to actually make and maintain a connection is… iffy. The round nature of the charger’s contacts means it has a tendency to rock back and forth on the device when it is connected. This has a tendency to break the connection. It’s an annoying design flaw that should have been fixed before the product was released, but it wasn’t. That being said, it really ISN’T a deal-breaker. It’s still easy to charge, but it just needs to be left undisturbed as it does so.

There’s one other flaw that really must be mentioned. The controls. The idea is excellent . They appear to use a capacitive technology similar to that which is seen on touchscreen smartphones. However, there is a problem. To put it kindly, they are AWFUL. While they look fantastic, they are functionally terrible. I can’t help but being disappointed by Fun Factory about this. For a product whose designers have clearly paid attention to detail, the failure of something as key as the controls is surprising.

The issue is that the controls are VERY sensitive when you don’t want them to be and utterly insensitive when you’re trying to adjust something. For example, it can be stored in the Lovehoney satin storage bag and be turned on from merely grabbing the bag in the wrong position, but you can also hold your finger very directly on the power button and get no response at all. In a similar vein, I have tried to change the speed whilst using it and had no response at all, but on other occasions moved my hand, slightly brushed the shiny plastic and set the device to its lowest setting - a definite mood killer.

However, once you learn to handle the device’s poor controls, it really performs excellently. The dual motor system provides intense, low rumbly vibrations that feel fantastic. I am shocked, yet pleased to say that it provides better physical stimulation than oral sex - in my opinion, anyway. It provides a range of intensities and patterns of vibration that I would imagine would satisfy most guys. It can get a little noisy, though. I don’t know how much there is to be done about it, but I am sure some clever engineering could have made it a bit quieter. It’s certainly not unacceptable though.

Conclusion:

The big question is of course “Is it worth it?”. This is undoubtedly an expensive device and it’s not unreasonable to ask such a question. To answer, I would say… “maybe”. If you are someone that enjoys regular masturbation but doesn’t enjoy the effort, then yes. Absolutely. If you are someone that wants a more intense version of ‘regular’ masturbation then again, this device is ideal.

If you are someone that only masturbates occasionally, then I would suggest that you bought something cheaper. Equally, if you are looking for a sexual experience that is new and entirely unlike money-spanking, then look elsewhere. It simply doesn’t do that.

There is also just a lingering feeling that this product is not quite complete. It performs so excellently on many levels that the controls just seem a stark contrast. If I had my way, Fun Factory would withdraw this product and release a redesigned version with non-broken controls and quieter motors. But, in the unlikely event that my sex-toy dictatorship doesn’t seize power in the following months, I can highly recommend this product.

I was certainly in two minds about spending so much money on this, but having read the rave reviews I thought I’d take the plunge.

Earthly Body Watermelon Lickable Massage Candle

Smells great, feels great

I bought this to use with my OH. I give her massages all the time, but I thought this might an extra dimension to it.

The first thing about it is the smell. It’s a very strong smell - everything in the box that it arrives in smells of watermelon. It’s a lot sweeter than a real melon, but it’s really very nice. When I burned it the room was filled with the fruity scent within about ten minutes. The smell sticks a lot, so blokes should probably keep it away from your pants, though to be honest I can’t see why you wouldn’t want everything in your bedroom to smell like this.

When I was a little girl, my mother always used to say ‘Buy cheap, buy twice’. I doubt that she expected I’d be applying that logic to nipple clamps, but it still stands: if you make this purchase, there’s a good chance you’ll be using Lovehoney’s return policy.

And why? Well, it’s not even because they’re that bad - they just try to appeal to two demographics, and neither of them particularly works. With the rubber clips on, there’s not enough pressure, and anyone with nipples larger than average is going to find them slipping off no matter how tight they are (some ribbing would have been useful, but instead it’s just a flat surface). Without them, the vicious-looking teeth look scary enough that newbies to the scene will likely have the fear of God put into them. Ironically, this is their best setting, although you still have to have them rather tight to stop them falling off even under the chain’s own weight. These are not clamps you can use to pull someone around.

The closing mechanism is a little fiddly too, and it’s easy to dislodge them while you’re trying to tighten them. In the end, the height of passion occasionally feels like playing a nipple-centric game of Operation.

Do they have good points? Yes. They’re cheap, and the chain looks very swish (hot black on pale white skin is a combination that just WORKS). Unfortunately, there’s not enough here to justify a saving of a couple of quid. Splash out and treat yourself to something that will really pay off.

When the Pipedream Extreme Realistic Vibrating Vagina and Ass Male Masturbator arrived the first thing that struck me was the weight of the package - I was both in awe and excited at the same time!

Upon opening the box I was presented with a big squishy bum made out of Fanta Flesh. This feels much like the soft elastomer materials used in other high-end toys and is really nice to squeeze and touch.

Also included in the box is a bottle of “Moist” lube, some antibacterial toy cleaner, a bottle of Fanta Flesh revive powder and a vibrating bullet with a wired remote control. The bullet takes two AA batteries and unlike some toys, rechargeables work just fine.

The anus hole on my masturbator has a plain design rather than the “star” pattern featured on the website and box. I think plain looks much better but I thought I would mention it anyway.

When I first tried the toy I had no idea where to start. Should I enter the vagina or the anus? Thrust into it on the bed? Stand? Lie down and use it two handed like a stroker? Kneel on the floor? The possibilities are endless and I have now tried every combination of these and more. It was a tough job but someone had to do it.

The masturbator features two penetrable holes, although both are actually just entrances to the same internal canal. Because of this I find that my penis sometimes pops out of the “air hole” at the end when I use the anal opening. It doesn’t happen in every position but it is something to keep an eye on if you don’t want lube or other sticky stuff all over the bed.

Both holes are quite tight but you don’t need a lot of lube. In fact using too much can stop you feeling all the intricate little bumps and ridges that are designed to enhance your pleasure. The only real issue with this toy is getting into a good thrusting position. Standing and lying down present no issues as you are holding and supporting the whole thing with your hands so you can manoeuvre it as required. Unfortunately thrusting into it with the toy supported by, for instance, the bed is more of a problem due to the toy’s low-profile nature. After much experimenting, I found that a folded-up pillow placed between the toy and the bed pretty much solved the problem and allowed me to fully enjoy the experience. Using this toy is just like thrusting into a woman from behind and the orgasms it delivers are up with the very best.

The thought of cleaning this toy filled me with dread but it turned out to be completely unfounded as it’s actually very easy. Simply fill up the sink with warm soapy water and give the toy a thorough cleaning with a finger or two, rinse and then leave it to air dry. I find that the internal areas dry pretty quickly if you leave it at a slight angle - leaning against the sloping end of a bath for instance - in fact this toy actually dries quicker than a lot of smaller sleeves and masturbators, which came as quite a surprise. Leaving it out to dry like that depends on your home’s privacy level of course, so your mileage may vary.

This toy is a completely different animal to a normal sleeve or stroker and it takes a bit of Heath Robinson style ingenuity to get the most out of it, but if you enjoy “doggy-style” sex then you will love what it has to offer.

Lovehoney Magic Wand Mains Powered Massager

Absolutely Amazing

Having seen this type of toy used a lot in BDSM porn and seeing how much pleasure they seem to give I had been keen to get one for quite some time. I’d always been put off by the price of the original Hitachi version, not to mention the lack of a UK mains version. I’d had my eye on the LH model for a while (which has the added bonus of a wheel to vary the speed as opposed to a two speed switch.) First impressions: well packaged and sturdy. Inside the box is a discreet black torch (‘Flashlight’) shaped case and a soft insert. The insert (which is deceptively heavy) can be easily removed for cleaning. There are caps at both ends (one controls suction and the other conceals the insert when not in use) and the toy can be easily and discreetly stored away when not in use without raising any eyebrows. The case is also grooved so that the Fleshlight can be easily used with (the inevitable) lube covered fingers. It’d make a good addition to a travel bag if you’re traveling alone on business, for example.

Most male masturbators are designed on the same principle: more stimulation means more fun and, accordingly, they tend to be very tight and highly textured. This means that you always get an exciting orgasm but, somehow, it feels wrong: everything is too intense and it’s all over too fast. It’s all a bit forced and artificial. Initially, you don’t feel much at all but it’s not a case of there being nothing to feel, it’s more a case of learning to tune in and notice the subtle sensations that the toy offers. Unlike many other masturbators, there are no bumps or ridges in the interior: this toy is all about being slow and sensual. As you thrust in and out, you feel a wet, velvety smooth ride and a pleasant, but not overpowering, tightness. As you continue to pump, you notice how the sensations change and, after a while, the Fleshlight feels almost organic. There’s still no overt stimulation, but it’s definitely there: there’s a gorgeous wet stickiness as you slide in, a soft massaging action all around your head and shaft as you pump, a little resistance on the upstroke and a gentle suction as you pull out. But, in some ways, the two Fleshlights are quite different (the silky smoothness of the Pink Mouth is really wonderful and quite different to the soft ribbing in the Wonderwave) and it would be hard to recommend one over the other.

Your mileage may vary, but I think it’s great.
