Blush Lux Femina Glass and SIlicone Kegel Exercisors

Looks strange, works a charm

When I first saw the picture of this, I couldn’t figure out how that giant loop could ever be comfortable. It is. The silicone is very soft and squishy and the loop is pliable enough that it just adjusts to suit my particular shape and whatever rotation it’s inserted in.

The balls themselves are clear shatterproof glass (the sort used for glass wands) with a small flower completely embedded inside. They can be used together or individually and with the harness or on their own. Points for versatility.

Even more points for the quality of design and materials. The silicone is smooth, soft and lovely to touch. The seam is so faint that a modern-day story teller could forego small vegetables and ask his princess to prove her delicate nature by noticing it or the tiny dimple in the glass.

One marble on its own is about the weight (or just under) of most two-ball toners with similar circumference, so the Blush exerciser is recommended for ‘intermediate’ users. Figuring out what size and weight will work best for you may take some trial and error. LH has a short video on how to use Kegel exercisers in their buying guides and the site’s forums are a trove of useful information and friendly advice. The general rule of thumb is that smaller and heavier gives a more demanding work-out for the Kegel muscles.

My points of comparison are Tracey Cox Supersex Toner Balls (4.5" circumference) and 2.25" metal Ben Wa Balls. The full Blush contraption is pretty much of a size with the TCs, but a good bit heavier. I’m finding the harness easier to insert, but it really shines in guiding them back out - the dual stems of the loop mean less tugging and smoother removal.

The glass marbles are held securely, but pop out readily enough. Without any bumps, lumps or seams, all of the pieces clean up easily and thoroughly. And of course there’s no hygienically-worrisome nylon cording.

Packaging is tasteful and secure. A note on the side asks us to reuse or recycle the plastic box, but I’m not sure either of those is really possible. Probably don’t want to wrap the Christmas home bakes in a wee box with a paragraph about exercising Kegel muscles after all.

An important note - since the marbles are solid glass, there are no smaller balls inside them to jiggle about. They work wonderfully well for increasing internal lubrication and toning the pelvic floor. They will press against your g-spot, which is arousing, but perhaps not as much as other types. When paired with a clit vibe though, they do transmit vibrations internally. Didn’t imagine they’d be my favourite for that.

Overall Rating: 8 out of 10 stars

Pros: Quality of materials and design, ease of use, cleans up well.

Cons: Wondering if they could find a way to make this thinner without sacrificing weight.

Bottom Line: Excellent intermediate exerciser.
