Bedtime 10 Function Vibrating Butt Plug
This was my first toy; indeed, my first foray into the world of anal stimulation at all. I was kind of curious about it, and luckily, this happened to be on the Daily Deal at the time, cutting the already reasonable price in half. It arrived today (albeit slightly later than I was hoping, thank you Royal Mail) and, naturally, I had to rush upstairs to try it out straight away.
I then had to rush back out again to buy batteries. A man of a smarter disposition would have bought them beforehand, but that man is not me.
After the brief interlude, I finally unboxed it and was immediately taken aback by its size. Although Iâd seen the pictures and read the specifications, it seems a lot bigger and scarier when youâre holding it in your hands wondering how on earth itâll fit.
Iâm happy to report, however, that with a little lube it slides right in, and sits fairly comfortably, even for a complete novice like myself. The feeling of having something stuck up there was, obviously, a little strange, but the overall shape and feel of the toy seems perfectly designed to acclimatize you to it without any undue discomfort.
The material itself is soft, just pliable enough to allow for comfortable insertion while still being nice and firm. It has a very faint odour, which was only noticeable very close up, but that is, I believe, to be expected with any silicone product. Itâll completely escape your notice unless youâre shoving the thing up against your nose.
The controller is simple; one button, to cycle through the 10 different vibration settings. The toy is switched off by holding this button down for 2 seconds, which is ample time to prevent you from accidentally shutting it down during play. The cord itself could be longer; while it is long enough for solo play, couples may find it restrictive in certain positions, if you want your partner to take control.
After a few minutes with it in, I finally got around to switching the thing on. Trust me when I tell you that you WILL feel it: the vibrations were vastly stronger than I was expecting. Being unfamiliar with this kind of thing, I was expecting a gentle buzz, and I was met with a thunderous rumble. I was, needless to say, delighted; it was a completely new sensation, and a powerful one at that. Flicking through the vibration settings, I discovered that the starting setting is actually not the weakest one; the order doesnât make a whole lot of sense at first. The patterns have some nice variety to them, and there are 3 âcontinuousâ settings of differing strengths.
I would, I think, prefer these to be in ascending order, not descending, as itâd allow one to amp up the intensity progressively, but this is a minor issue. Itâd also be nice to have a ârandomâ option, that cycles through the different patterns automatically, and, in fact, more control in general would not go amiss, but as a beginner, Iâm more than happy with one button and 10 settings.
It WAS louder than I expected, unfortunately; while inside itâs not excessively or distractingly loud, but certainly audible. If you share a house/flat and youâre worried about discretion, youâll probably be fine as long as your room-mate/family member/pet (well, really now, you donât want your cat judging you during your funtime, do you?) arenât right outside your door, but if you were entertaining some fantasy about keeping it in while going about your daily business, it may be a little bit too noisy.
It comes with a handy sucker-base, if you wanted to attach it to a surface for hands-free play. Personally, I prefer to just use it in the normal butt-plug (I really wish there was a better name for theseâŚ) manner, but in the interest of testing, I did check the suction on it. It seems to want to come unstuck when the vibrations are on, unfortunately.
On the subject of the base; while it is flared and should -hopefully- prevent the toy from getting lost up there, it is slightly pliable and I was always a little worried about it slipping in, although this may simply be a noviceâs paranoia. It also doesnât help that Iâm somewhat on the chubby side, so, sparing the ugly details, Iâm rather âpaddedâ back there, so thereâs always some pressure on the base itself. Again, this is probably more due to my own inexperience than any real threat, but I feel that itâs worth mentioning.
All in all, this purchase is like Christmas come early for me; a near-perfect toy for beginners, and quite possibly veterans too, with an excellent pricetag from an excellent company.

Pros: Powerful vibrations, easy insertion, comfortable shape and material, and generally well-made.
Cons: The cord could be longer, and the controller is a little basic.
Bottom Line: An absolute must-buy for novices.
