The strike is firm and makes a thumping noise during impact. You can aim the paddle two ways, one with the palm of the hand which produces a stinging sensation which ripples outwards from the centre of the paddle, and the second with the fingertips which produces a slight whipping effect; you can start slowly tapping the fingertips on your lover to build up the tension.
