Hi all, as we are still newbies, is the a way of keeping track of live reviews? As 7-10 are a minimum recommended, I tried a search but the topic said it was old information . Thanks :smiling_face:

Hi there,

The only way I know of is to revisit the product page for the product you’ve reviewed and look to see if your review is live yet.

LoveHoney should add a section in our accounts with something like ‘your reviews’ and once clicked it shows the reviews for each product that we’ve reviewed :grinning_face: certainly would make things a lot easier for customers.

This is why I make use of the My Reviews thread; I’ve been reviewing for Lovehoney for maaaany years and I enjoy keeping track.

We did have that before but when they changed the forum platform it changed so we couldn’t have it in our profiles/accounts. Lovehoney has been around for a long time we even had a chatroom/private messaging.

It would be great if they made it possible on the main LH shopping site @teacake - Like a competitors site does after every purchase, you review the product, it gets verified, and then accepted. Yeah I’ve read old threats from when chat rooms and private messaging was a thing. Before Brenna was running it etc.

Yes, way back when we had Ranks and the forum was called Orgasm Army.

We also had the ability to send gifts to each other from our wishlist. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah I saw that, I was reading threads from 2020 I think it was, might of been earlier @teacake - And then the new badges, a few people disliked the idea. I’ve spent too many hours reading since I joined the forum 45 days ago. But its been great reading :blush:

@teacake and @Stacy2 it wasn’t changing the forum that changed the ability to have our our review profiles (and I agree 100% it was waaaay better when we did!). It was when the shopping site was updated the ability to link to individual reviews on the site was lost. This was a major error in my opinion.

It meant the links to “New Reviews”, the “Review of the Month” competition and our review profiles were lost. This sucked.

As @For_Your_Eyes_Only_x mentions above this is why some of us use the My Reviews thread to post our reviews. It means we can have a link to just our reviews because you can filter it by user. For example, this link should take you to just the OP and my reviews within the thread. It is also why the thread is now kept to just reviews and comments on the reviews are moved to the Lounge or Reviewing Reviews for discussions.

I will be honest, I’ve only been a LH customer since 2019, I did join thinking I could just review some new products, but in just over a month its become more than that for me. Its been a steep learning curve picking up the rules but I really like the sense of community, even though I’m new (ish) still :sweat_smile:

I stand corrected lol did the site change the same time as this platform, I can’t remember now lol

Edit: Actually I’m thinking about our upload of pictures were the things that got deleted when it moved to this forum platform.

Within about a month or two of each other, I think. Probably the same team behind both. I love all the forum changes, I do not love a number of the shopping site changes; the inability to link to reviews being the biggest. There were a lot of complaints to Brenna at the time, I believe, but we were told with the update the ability to link to reviews could not be brought back. Personally, I wish they’d change the shopping site back to the previous version!

Yep, admittedly, that was to do with the forum update. That didn’t affect me personally as I only lost my profile picture but I can see how it would annoy others.

Yeah I did look at the review thread a few days ago. I’ve only done around 20-25 reviews myself, so I’ve them saved along with pictures in my notes just like the thread. If I feel its to much I might add them aswell.

Its such a shame that feature was removed.

Sorry if this is off topic, but do you have the same problem when viewing an order, the products don’t show? My recent order from this morning only shows the items if I click desktop view in chrome on my phone?

I quite like the thread (now we can’t link directly to our shopping site reviews) as it means if someone asks about a product, I can just link to my review of it in that thread and say, “Read this, anything not answered that you’d like to know, feel free to ask”. It was definitely better when the shopping site allowed direct review links, though.

ETA To reply to your second question. @Stacy2 , and having just checked, weirdly it depends on the order. Some show the details of items ordered, the most recent, for example, shows fine. Others, don’t show anything about the order when I click for details. Same on both Chrome and Samsung Internet :thinking:

Edited again to add… actually the only one that works is my most recent order!!!

That’s good to know. A common problem then. My 2 most recent orders don’t show, but the rest are fine, that’s really strange @Peitho :rofl:
