Sex Guides?

That’s more like it. :slightly_smiling_face:

If we ask really really nicely Brenna may let us have a separate #Guides category to keep everything in. :+1: So we could have a Top5 of lots of stuff without cluttering up the main boards. And each topic can handle 10,000 replies before it auto-closes and needs a new one. :slightly_smiling_face::+1:

I wasn’t aware of that!

I think with polls you’ll get a lot of old information building up of people’s preferences from years ago (all being well :slightly_smiling_face:). And there’s the 5 minute edit window, so you can’t add in new toys later either.

I thought if something was actively monitored and amended accordingly then it could work but with only a 5 min window would be impossible

I can’t get the quote thingy to work today.
Just saying - tho this probably isn’t the right place, I just noticed in @Orgasm_Chaser’s post that it doesn’t seem to be just me.

You’re missing the final [/quote] on a line underneath the last line of the quoted paragraph. :+1:

Usually if you highlight text in someones post it gives the option to quote it?

That’s right. Highlight some text and a little floating QUOTE box shows up. Tap it and it’ll auto fill all the bits and pieces for you.

But if you accidentally delete a bit while copying/pasting/editing you can just type it back in. :+1:

It is working now, but not earlier. Maybe a glitch.

How about some anatomy sex guides? Clitoris, unexpected erogenous zones, etc?

Or the sexual mindfulness side of it? Destressing. Good communication. Romance and affection. That sort of thing? The less product based stuff.

Yeah! Maybe sensory play etc

Definitely put up a 3-D clit model, with a description of where it is and how it works.

There was one in the Guardian yonks back - it’s probably all over now. I’ll try to find it after dinner.

I have a question/curiosity. :slightly_smiling_face:

Is pegging a male only thing? If someone uses a strap-on on a woman does that still count as Pegging? I put it under ‘prostate’, but perhaps I should move it to the strap-on section?

I’d certainly move it to the strap on section - lots of scope for woman on woman play, for those who like penetration (I’m not even sure of the current terminology - sorry if I haven’t got it right).

I tend to think of pegging as for men - I’m happy to be corrected. But it should come under ‘prostate’ too.

Probably those who use these toys could better advise.

Clit model and article

Not the article I was thinking of, but interesting nonetheless…

I think Strap-On would be a better fit. I’ll slide it over. :+1:

I’ve been making notes as I go in the guide index above. :+1:

Strictly speaking, if the receiver has a prostate it is pegging and if the receiver doesn’t it’s strap on (regardless of whether it is vaginal or anal). The terms get used interchangeably and some people may prefer a certain term.

I did think that, but then I had second thoughts. :slightly_smiling_face: (I’ve popped it next to the Strap-Ons in the Dildo section as a catch-all, and included a ‘see also’ in the prostate section. :+1:)

I presume it’s the same for anal dildos; if I put one up there myself, or if someone else does it ‘unharnessed’, then that wouldn’t count either?

And (while you’re here :slightly_smiling_face:) do you prefer the ‘penis & prostate’ category name over ‘male sex toys’? Do you think it divides/groups neatly?

ETA: Actually, I think I could break that whole section up and redistribute it through the other categories. I’d just need a seperate penis toy guide and another prostate toy guide.

Sex Toys

  • Vibrators (+ penis vibrators & vibrating cock rings)
  • Dildos (+ extenders?)
  • Masturbators
  • Anal (+ prostate)
  • Sex Dolls

Better Sex:

  • Lube
  • Games
  • Clitoris & Vulva - (balms/kegel/squirt/pumps?)
  • Penis - (balms/cock rings/sprays/bigger/pumps?)

Maybe I’m the only one finding this bit interesting. :slightly_smiling_face: I’ll keep fiddling and when it’s time for the guides themselves I’ll let everybody know. :+1:
