Just had to run to the hardware store, because i somehow misplaced the screws for the Bangin’ Bench I bought for the wife.
She’s been out of town for a week so I finally got it out of its hiding spot to surprise her tomorrow.
Fingers crossed she’s receptive.
I hope the weather stays good for a few days then. I don’t think she will like it the cold weather returns.

So, I’m a complete numpty and managed to lose my phone while rounding up sheep on Tuesday. Spent ages ringing it, no luck. Found the rather large circle it should be in from Find My Device unfortunately the battery was dead by the time I got there and despite hours looking (in long grass) with friends and a metal detector no luck.
I’ve borrowed the OH’s laptop for emails and a quick check in here… turns out the forum is a very different place to navigate not on a phone!
Anyway… long way of saying I am not going to be on much until I find (or probably replace 
) my phone. Normal almost constant attendance will then resume. If anyone @Ian_Chimp , @Green_Eyed_Girl , @anyone_else can post the UK DOTD in

Worst thing is not being on at all yesterday I have lost my perfect record of attendance. Sad times.

That sounds like you have really bad luck, but really great friends.
I think FlickLit has a nicer desktop layout. I thought one of the most interesting things was being able to see the views on the Latest topic list, and you can click on the headers to sort the order by replies/views/activity. Who knew?

I can’t sign in - I’ve tried! I have requested a password reminder via email but it’s not come through yet. There is no hurry, I was in a field with a metal detector at half 5 this morning to try and find my phone so it’s definitely bedtime now but I’d very much like to sign back in tomorrow evening to get my fill of erotic literature. An additional annoyance - my ongoing (though with lots still to do) Choose Your Own Adventure story is on my phone… and not backed up. Even more reason to find my phone!!! I’m such a moron.

I’ve had a deeper dive and it does look like it got jammed up in the mail service somehow. 
I’ve just sent myself a test one, and that got delivered okay. Hopefully a fresh one will like you better. 
I was wondering if you’d forgotten, but that’s not like you Hope you find it My dad thought he’d lost his, searched everywhere and a friend ordered him a new (used) one, and after he’d gotten the new one my mom found it in her car (which they’d already searched) Hopefully it’s a sunny day when you go searching and it landed screen-side up so you can see the shine (though if it’s in the tall grass IDK about that)

Nooooo! That’s rotten luck!
I had mine swiped from a counter once while I paid for lunch. Not quite the same in the way it was lost, but damn, did I feel utterly lost until I got a replacement.
