Blast it all. Managed to avoid covid all this time and now someone in the house has tested positive and i think i might have it too. Had concert tickets for tomorrow as well that ive been looking forward to going to for months

Crappy timing! I avoided it for a long, long time and was a little worried when I did get it due to other health issues but I think this later strain is a lot less aggressive than the original and I only had very mild symptons for a few days. Fingers crossed you’re the same

I was catching a lift with friends who i really dont want to risk giving it to. The concert is standing, so there wont be much elbow room. Not worth it personally. Id feel dreadful if i gave it to someone else.

Same as you @Peitho. Been trying not to get is as ive got m.e/c.f.s so my immune system can be a tad hit or miss at times.

Ditto. After the first jab i was ill for a month. But the subsequent ones have been better so im cautiously optimistic just getting over a cold too so it doesn’t improve my chances of not catching it sadly.

Husband isn’t in a good way. Yesterday, he found out his workplace has been lying to him and everyone in his team for 9 months. In person, to their face lies. No interpretation issues, they knew what they were doing. Way to pull the rug out from under a whole team.
