No, they can’t, whatever it is flagged as. Anything flagged as “something else” and with a little note doesn’t get any repercussions anyway, it just alerts Brenna to something about a post. If enough people flag a post as, I think, any of the other flags, it will be hidden even when Brenna is not working. It is possible that an inappropriate flag gives the person a note that they might want to edit their post, I’m not sure.
Can you flag this as inappropriate and I’ll see what happens? NOT EVERYONE just @Kitty-Cat01 , if everyone does it, it will close the topic until Brenna comes in and sorts it out tomorrow!!!

I didn’t get any sort of notification that the post had been flagged, maybe it takes a few from different people? Let’s not test that theory though, I don’t want to make too much work for Brenna tomorrow.
@Lovehoney_Brenna , any additional info on this would probably be helpful and might make people more willing to flag rule breaky posts.
I was thinking that it might help to add a line to the guidelines about flagging posts to say that the person is not notified of a flag and no one will be able to identify the flagger except the mods! Put in better english obviously!
When a post is flagged, only the mod/admin team can tell who submitted the flags. The person whose post it is doesn’t get to see who flagged it.
When it’s a ‘something else’ flag, that type doesn’t hide posts like the inappropriate/spam/off-topic ones do - so a post could get 100 ‘something else’ flags and it would stay visible (though if it picks up one of those others as well from someone else then the ‘something else’ flags can then contribute to hiding it).
You only get the generic auto-message if your post is hidden rather than just flagged, so picking up one inappropriate flag on its own won’t trigger it.
