@MsR The first one is a linebreak (like poetry)

Even the rats have rickets,
They spit through broken teeth.
The name of the game’s not cricket,
Here on Beasley Street

And the second is a paragraph break. :+1:

I think I voted twice? I’m going to see if I can slap a third in. :slightly_smiling_face:

Ah, it’s a multiple choice one. I think I was just changing my first choice to choices, and that’s what moved the totals. :+1:

I still can’t change the ‘replied to’ after a message has already been posted, but I have noticed that if you press the wrong one initially you can can go back up the topic and press the ‘reply to’ button of the post you meant, and that updates it. :+1: It only works in the first draft though, not in edits.

Please can someone tell me how to mention a toy e.g. ‘Desire Bullet’ and have it show up in blue as a link to click?
I only know how to open up in another tab and copy and paste the link…
TIA!

Try this. :+1: (using the :link: icon in your reply window)

ETA: I’ll pop in a step-by-step in case anyone is a little lost. :slightly_smiling_face:

  • First, copy the page address from the address bar of the page you want to link

Eg. https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=39046

  • Come back to your reply, and click on :link: (in the formatting bar, to the right of quote/bold/italic). It’ll bring up an ‘Insert Hyperlink’ box with two fields:

    • Paste a URL or start typing to search Topics

    • optional title

  • Paste the address you want to link to in the top box

  • Now write the text you want to display in the bottom box (eg. Mantric Bullet) , and tap ‘OK’.

And you should get this: Mantric Bullet

And that’s it. :slightly_smiling_face:

I also can’t figure out how to get directly to the new topics, other than clicking on ‘43 unread’ Argh!

I think I’ve got the hang of formatting, liking and replying etc. I’m now trying to organise my page.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I’ll be back to try out whatever answers I get!

I’ve been using the Watching/Tracking/Normal notification settings to get a handle on what pops up and when. There’s some info on it in Category and Topic Notifications? (though I’ve probably thought of an extra trick or two since, if you need it :slightly_smiling_face::+1:).

Mantric bullet

I’m just testing cause I haven’t done this yet either…

Ohhh and it works! @Ian_Chimp You are v handy :blue_heart:

The other clever feature in that box is if you start typing out a Topic title in the URL (top) box it’ll give you a list of suggestions you can pick from that will auto-fill the rest. :+1:

So, if you open :link:, and type in the top URL box ‘Sand’ (I think it needs at least 4 letters to kick in), then you should get a list of suggestions pop up. Select which one you want, and press ‘Okay’. :+1::slightly_smiling_face:

OK, trying this out:

Nope.

desire bullet

Yay! I think?

No - link shows in blue but it doesn’t work if I click on it.
First link works, but it’s clumsy.

Not that time. :slightly_smiling_face:

You need to fill both top and bottom boxes.

:+1:

[Desire bullet](http://Desire bullet

desire bullet

So just the second box?

I genuinely don’t know how you’ve done that. :slightly_smiling_face:

Open :link:

Take the: https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=36366 and paste it in the top box

In the bottom box type Desire Bullet

Press ‘Okay’

So why not just cut and paste the product code from a new tab?
Is it just because it looks neater?

I’m not sure what I did either - I’m just messing about in the Sandbox!

Ohhhh polls are easy to create! Finally getting round to testing some more functions :sunglasses:

Edit: I just noticed I took far too long on this reply and you’ve already cracked it. :+1::slightly_smiling_face:

It’s okay. It’s the best place to practice. :slightly_smiling_face: It looks like you deleted some of your link somehow.

Embedding a link is mainly to make it look neater and be more descriptive. There are more interesting ways to link a page, but they unfortunately don’t work with LH product pages at the moment (I hope they do at some point though, as that’d be even better :+1:).

And the auto-suggest will only work with forum topics. :+1:

You can just drop a link on a line all by itself and it’ll ‘onebox’ it. So something like this:

Would turn into something like this:

And it works with YouTube videos too: :+1:
