Hi all I think that with the no restrictions that we all face people might need a place to vent or even to ask for help . We have seen over the last couple of days that there’s a lot of out members who are struggling in a number of different ways if there is a way of allowing them to talk and make them feel a safer and secure then we are helping, as long as we are not disclosing and personal information then I feel this may help some members IMO ? For what it is worth .

@Gazza_64 i agree, two or three chat threads, is it really doing any harm weighed against the possible benefits?

I think you’d make a great new host to something like Welcome to Scorpresso’s – Lovehoney’s Virtual Coffee Shop!
I’m imagining more of a Village Pub vibe. 
Somewhere with comfy chairs near the fire, and you’ll let people bring their dogs in. Always early evening, and always ready with a friendly ear and a smile. 
Maybe that could be the new lounge?
I don’t think anyone is saying that there is a problem with having chat threads and @Gazza_64 you are right, having a place where people can get support is important.
The difficulty I know I’m having is that I click on a thread (that isn’t someone asking a specific question) with the hope of maybe joining in but find that it has either already gone off topic and/or it is referencing conversations that started in a different thread. It just isn’t easy to follow and so I just give up. Having one general chit chat thread (the lounge idea is great) and one support thread would just make it easier to join in as all anyone would need to do is scroll through that one thread

@Gazza_64 The Is everyone okay? support topic can stay (as long as it doesn’t go off-topic). I’m talking about adding a special topic where daily chit-chat is welcome and where off-topic chat in other topics can be moved to
