I like checking the daily deal of the day, even more so since the good facebook monthly offers went (still saddens me) and the 10% discount code is also expired :(... but anyway...

Today's deal of the day looks great for the item but why did you pair it with possibly the worst reviewed product on the site? http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=19963 has some pretty poor ratings that has kind of put me off buying the item, if it had been paired with a different toy the offer would have been very attractive.

Just me or is everyone feeling the same about this one?

The reason you are probably getting it free is because it has such bad reviews. Maybe they are A) clearing old stock or B) hoping that by throwing in some freebies the will get a few good reviews? =)
