Trust level 1

Do new people at trust level 1 get to try out the products?

I am trust level 3 have bought loads and left reviews. Been a member since May last year and regularly vote to test but still nothing yet. I have pretty much given up now, still vote to test but not too bothered if i do or dont get chosen as its not why i joined anyway.

I believe it only takes 15 days and some light interaction on the forum to reach level 2.

That seems to be the sweet spot on the forum and which level most people reach

And the only person who can really answer that question would be Brenna.

Have you tried commenting on the tester posts instead of just the voting multiple choice ones @Wood-Nymph? (Just my suggestion) I always write which product I’d be interested in as that’s how Brenna filters and selects people

Yes i have. If it happens it happens.

Yeah, from my experience I found commenting on the normal testers worked first before the serect ones  commenting here will show interest and then you’ll get the chance to be considered (I only vote or comment for things that interest me mind).

I should try this, thanks for the advice :+1:.

It’s extremely unlikely but if you follow The Great Big Review and Testing Guide then you’re in with a shot.

People that only join the forum to get testers don’t usually last long because there are a lot more people wanting to test than there are products available :+1:t2:

Trust level has nothing to do with product testing. Its more about how often you are posting in the forum etc

How do you even get to trust level 1? Just by commenting?

Just wanna start with I’m not being negative or whiny lol. I actually am digging the whole operation and honestly believe this site makes people feel good in different ways. There’s so much positivity around.

But MsSubExperimenter your post made me think “I wonder why they don’t have like a capacity of active members so that more people have a better shot at scoring the goods”. Which by the way would screw me bc we just joined very recently.

And finally lol, that brings me back to the how they make so many people happy in so many different ways. Sorry for the ramble it’s just how my brain runs.

Brenna actually posted A reminder about tester items yesterday which explains a bit about the process behind selecting members to test products

I also love the forum for the positivity and acceptance, it’s a happy little corner of the internet for the most part :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
