There is a discussion on the Discourse website that suggests you are right @Ian_Chimp. It also suggests there is no cap, so indeed @WillC or you might struggle with the number of active users the forum has and proportions that like your posts. If that were to stop you two fine gents from being TL3, then that would be a ridiculous rule. All very strange.

I have no idea what the benefits of the TL3 level are, and to be honest, i’m not really bothered. I just come here to socialise with lovely people

I don’t think i’ve used level 2 benefits much? Would much prefer unlimited “likes” as having a limit on a forum that promotes positivety seems counterproductive.

@KinkyMira I think I may have solved the mystery! There appeared to be some gubbins on my end from when your accounts were merged. I think I have sorted it now, but we shall see in the morning!

Been meaning to ask, the link that goes into the different trust levels etc, is that a standard one for the framework for the forum? As in it’s not specific for just our forum? Or am I wrong?

It’s a standard one, though the requirements to level up are pretty similar/the same. (at least for now. They can be tweaked)
The perks/functions have been tweaked quite a bit, but here’s the Badge descriptions so you can see what we do get.
TL1 - Basic
Granted all essential community functions
This badge is granted when you reach trust level 1. Thanks for sticking around and reading a few topics to learn what our community is about. New user restrictions have been lifted; you’ve been granted all essential community abilities, such as flagging, wiki editing, and the ability to post multiple links.
TL2 - Member
Granted upload images to the Your Photos category, and more likes
This badge is granted when you reach trust level 2. Thanks for participating over a period of weeks to truly join our community. You can now upload photos to the designated Your Photos category, and you have more likes per day.
TL3 - Regular
Granted recategorize, rename, create wiki, more likes
This badge is granted when you reach trust level 3. Thanks for being a regular part of our community over a period of months. You’re now one of the most active readers, and a reliable contributor that makes our community great. You can now create wiki posts, recategorize and rename topics, more powerful spam flags, and you’ll also get lots more likes per day.

Just to add this in this Topic, Brenna has upped the Like multipliers for TL2 and TL3, so now you get 50/100/150 Likes for TL1/TL2/TL3.
Hopefully that’ll be enough…
