I have a Doxy 3 mains and wow, it is powerful even on the low setting (though rather loud :sweat_smile:) :exploding_head: Donā€™t have a LH mains one to compare to but dang Doxy knows what theyā€™re doing in terms of power :heart_eyes:

Now we need to figure out how to compare ours across the internet. :slightly_smiling_face: Iā€™m thinking we stick some sandpaper to the head of each, crank them up, and time how long it takes to erase a sharpie signature from a bit of wood.

We have the Doxy Die Cast but not a LH one to compare with. Need to agree on type of wood and sandpaper grade first though or it wonā€™t be a fair test. Plus pressure exertedā€¦ itā€™s getting complicated. Maybe best we just wait for an efficinado who has both!

I think Doxy are missing a trick there. Their #3 line has removable swappable heads, they simply screw on.

A sanding head would work great. I bet it would work better than my Black & Decker random orbital sander.
