But it is?
Saying that, drop hints about a nice dinner at home and a fun night in? It's not buying into the commercialism but you still get to do something nice c

Exactly... night in is just as good, doesn't have to be expensive

It's a saturday night this year so I'm thinking maybe we can get the kids to go to bed on time (for a change) and then have a candlelit dinner etc once they are asleep.

Will avoid any speeding fines that way

That sounds good mrsmuffin :)

Nice intimate dinner in our favourite Italian restaurant, then an early night.

You know what is sad, i am 32 and only ever received 2 valentines day cards my whole life :(

My heart goes out to you my ex was the same now me and hubby do cards by since I'm doing the Dr Who experience two days before I'll have tons of Dr Who goodies.

Our anniversary is the 15th so we decided to make a pack and not celebrate Valentines.

Plus 'm taking him to see Fifty Shades on the 13th and it's my friend's birthday on Valentines day so I wanted to get everone together to celebrate that.

Sounds good anyways missnoir
