My wife has a couple of pairs of panties with remote control vibrators built in. They do make a noise but if you were in a room with music or a few people talking you would not notice the sound.

. We had these years ago different design though and weren’t too noisy to use in a restaurant. only issue was when the waiter came over I couldn’t switch it off and there was a slight rumbling from it touching the plastic chair

I always try stuff like this indoors first @LilMissJ93 If it’s barely audible to me or my OH then I know I’ll feel confident to wear it in public
I did have an occasion where I was wearing a vibrating egg ( think the device in question has been discontinued…wonder why?) in a supermarket and despite me having used it successfully many times before, it suddenly decided to malfunction. Instead of staying on the low continuous buzz that I set it too it started going through all the patterns and bumping the speed setting up to the most powerful one…which unfortunately was also the loudest! I saw a few people looking at me, could have been the noise, most probably it was my red face! 
I had to rush into toilets and remove it and even then I struggled to get it to turn off. Thankfully the toilets were unoccupied!

Just make sure you’re sitting on a soft/padded chair. We find that’s enough to muffle the sound (pun intended).
