Just completed my first half marathon, from beginner to 22 kilometres on just under 12 months. I feel chuffed even if that does sound rather self appraising.
MISSION COMPLETE. :grinning:

Chatting with friends - even if it’s only on Zoom

and @Floating_Fun_Guy: Great run, especially at this time of year! I just did ‘a marathon in ten 10 days’ to support a friend at work. Even for those who like running, it’s not the best of fun out there.

Well done @Melody1 great effort. I enjoy the my running this time of year, a guess splashing through the mud and puddles brings out the inner kid in me.

I decided to video myself dancing for the first time since I started doing it (I usually just do it in front of a narrow mirror) and I didn’t realise how good I had gotten. It was also helpful for learning what to improve on.

Another thing is when I was looking at old photos and noticed just how much weight I’ve lost. Hate looking at old photos of myself. I joke with my partner that he has a knack for taking the most unflattering photos

Having a quick look around the forum and being reminded of the awesomeness of capybara. They do make my heart glow and I would very much like to cuddle one. Ahhhhh, happy thoughts. :slightly_smiling_face: :rat:

It’s been the greyest of English days. Nothing at all happening. The thermometer barely moved off zero. Even the breeze couldn’t be bothered. I cheered myself up by taking a couple of photos in my tropical brights. They remind me that somewhere in the world right now it is a pleasant, sunny 29 degrees.
I had to go to the French site to copy this product pic but I’ll post mine later for tomorrow
