Well done @The_Little_Ladybird,is this a one off or will it become a regular thing?
I haven’t been open water swimming for probably 18 months now and really need to get back in the water as my wetsuit has yet to be christened!!!

No wetsuits just girls (of all ages) in bikinis and swimmers 
I am impressed with anyone who does open water swimming. It must be very invigorating and good for the body if you can stand it. Well done. Will you be trying it again? @The_Little_Ladybird

@The_Little_Ladybird the only times I’ve worn a wetsuit was a winter coaching session when the water temp was 2.4°C
and for the triathlon because it was mandatory,any other time just skins (swim shorts)
Have you got a tow float?
@steve19 it is,especially when proper cold,I’ve yet to swim with ice on the lake!!!

@pootle yesterday was a “dip” jumping waves, bobbing about and a little swim when it was calm enough, was blowing a gale in S Wales last night x
Payday today so treated myself to some new trainers. Had my eye on the for a while so thought f**k it why not. Happy Friday everyone x

What flowers did you get? I try to buy my wife flowers at least once a month. Nice little gift but we struggle to keep them alive lol
Get her a wee plant instead, and you can make a wee rockery of your monthly surprises, if you’ve got the room.

Great shout. She has around 5 cactus on the window sill but out of room there. I want to do a little patch in the garden so I’ll have a nose at some 
I got some sunflowers; I treat myself to flowers once in a blue moon but it’s the first time I have had sunflowers
