We have been quite curious about this, we have a couple of people we talk to online, who have showed interest in buying us an item or two, but we haven’t found a way to send our wishlist for people to buy and send us items, similar to other websites. Is this functionality possible? Don’t know if we are being silly and totally missing this aspect, or if it isn’t possible. Thanks!

You can certainly email it. 
If you go to your Wishlist page, you’ll find the share this wishlist link for each wishlist in the section just above the first item in it.
The Secret Gifting I’m afraid is no longer a feature (though there’s some talk of bringing it back, but nothing concrete as yet).
But when you email them the wishlist, they can’t buy that for you and send it to you, unless they have your address etc? Or is that the secret gifting you mentioned? Had a feeling it would be yourself that replied @Ian_Chimp 
You used to be able to do that, but it’s not currently an option.
However, if you know each others emails you can send out your wishlist, and then they can buy a gift voucher for you that’s sent via email. It’s clumsy, but it might work?
Yeah, definitely a work around, can see what works in time!
