We might try the Costanatura when next in the area.

If I had a pound (or a dollar or euro) every time I have heard this, I would be a very rich man. It is quite common for men to want to try naturism - and nearly as common for their wives/partners/girlfriends to be much less keen. The problem is generally to do with body image fears, but more often than not, would-be naturist men just don’t make naturism appealing enough, when they try to convince their OHs. This usually means they present it as sitting on a beach for three or four hours, rather than, for example, a relaxing, liberating two-week holiday, which is what naturism is for us. Or being members of a really friendly club where we can relax uninhibited among nice people. I call myself a ‘born naturist’ (which ironic as we are all born nude), whereas my wife certainly isn’t, but we enjoy naturism together because there is something in it for both of us. So my advice is always to make sure she understands there is something in it for her, if you come up against a reluctant OH.

I love the idea of it, and the thought of others checking my wife out would be quite hot.
I don’t think I’d ever come around to the idea of doing it either.
Sorry to disappoint, but most folks on a nudie beach just mind their own business. No exhibitionist value to be had.

Pardon the pun but you will have a ball the first time you go. I remember my first time and thinking the entire beach would shut down and look when I took off my swimsuit. No one could care less.

I have always been very comfortable with being au natural but my hubby is the opposite.
It’s kind of strange as he has a fantastic body abs and all.
This is where it gets funny; he has a small penis but if the water is even a tiny bit cool, small becomes tiny & that is every time thus far.
Seriously, the more he fusses the more I laugh, no joke it is 2, 3 cm at very best (an inch) a tiny little stump protruding and his balls retreat deep into his body leaving an empty tight dark colored sack!
I recently changed a friends baby boys nappy and called him over, “look, same size as you on the beach.”

Seriously, though, penis size is completely irrelevant in a naturist context, and it should be emphasised to would-be naturists with potential body image issues that the size or shape of anything or anybody hardly registers with experienced naturists - because we’ve seen it all before. It’s difficult for novices to believe, but that sort of thing doesn’t matter when everybody is naked.

I go regularly! Last time was last sunday! its and amazing feeling of freedom, and for me, an amazing way to fight low self esteem. I just find myself caring less and less with others opinion of my body
Not a beach but I’ve been to naturist swims and camps for pretty much all of my life and they’re definitely not the “horny” places you imagine them to be. Believe me, you will see things that will kill an erection very, very quickly 
Most of these places have strict “no sexual contact” rules, though I do know of (or at least I knew of, though they might have changed now) one or two “hotspots” that have unspoken rules like “what happens in the dunes, stays in the dunes” and “what happens in the woods, stays in the woods”. Basically, you’re not supposed to go there for the purposes of sex, but if the inevitable happens and you need to go hide in the trees for some quick wrist relief, that’s your business. It’s not supposed to be sexy and it isn’t sexualised, but people still do stuff, albeit they get some very dirty looks (and possibly barred) if they get caught.
As an aside, I should add that there was a regular at my swim who had a thing for me, and I for him, and I used to tease him often by taking waaaay longer in the communcal showers than what I really needed to. Shame he wasn’t kinky, we could have tried some other activities at home that don’t require clothes 
This is very true! Unlike @Tenshadesandme i mostly went to nudist beaches, since other “events” are rare where i live.
I love naturism as a way of being. Since I was little, I was accustomed to it, even though I was always very shy. With age, I became more comfortable and developed a taste for being nude. I never had any prejudices against other people’s bodies, but I always judged myself quite harshly. Naturism has helped me immensely with that. Being nude in nature is an incredible freedom! Naturism can be something very beautiful and liberating. While nude, there are no brands, no suits or dresses or jewelry, just humans in their own skin. i think that is amazing.
With that said, sexuality is inherent to human behavior… and sometimes in nudist places there are swingers, voyeurs, casual sex, exhibitionism, “cuckholds”… Everyone has their own thing. Personally, it doesn’t bother me, and sometimes I even enjoy it, as long as there is respect and boundaries. Although i do prefer the non sexual side of it.
One needs to understand that sex is just part of human nature. But not everyone is there for that;
Respect and Boundaries are the keys!

One of the problems with organised naturism (in my experience) is: in order to make sure it doesn’t attract perverts, clubs and resorts go out of their way to present it as completely asexual experience, as if naturists have a way of turning off our sexuality as we take off our clothes.
It’s quite right that if you are thinking of becoming a naturist for voyeuristic reasons, you are barking up the wrong tree, but it should be said that naturism is, in a way, very sexy.
Being naked and being around other naked people makes you feel liberated, positive and inspired, which means the prospect of sex suddenly becoming even more appealing, and some of the most beautiful sex my wife and I have had is in our room/chalet/tent on naturist holidays.

We recently had this discussion and the answer from the OH was yes as long as it was an adult only beach.
Although she appreciates it is a lifestyle, she would feel uncomfortable if minors were present.
She would also want to initially wear a sarong until she felt comfortable.
Seems fair enough to me.

My husband has always wanted us to go to a nudist beach but I have always said no, but we have recently been visiting a sex club where I have been getting naked in front of people so I might actually be tempted to go on a nudist beach now.

There are a few official nude beaches in the UK. They are easily Googled. The flagship is probably Studland Bay, near Poole in Dorset. The main problem is obviously the weather, but God fortunately put us within easy reach of France and Spain, which are excellent for naturism, and offer the full 24/7 nude experience, rather than just beaches. Go for it. Your only regret will be you didn’t try it earlier.
