Are all women bisexual?

Hi all

Being the only male at a gathering of ladies at ours last week, the late night wine fuelled conversation steered to sex. Mrs A is 'not openly out' bi and one of her friends 'K' is the same though their friendship is professional/platonic. The conversation centred around the fact that most women they knew found other women sexually attractive, and that sometimes open displays of affection between women could be construed as mildly sexual

The conclusion the ladies came to was that all women are to some degree bisexual, wheras the 'label' did not apply to men persay. Mrs A very nearly outed on that evening and her and 'K' did exchange knowing glances

What do you think?

I am... and I believe that most women are bisexual, even though they suppress their emotions.

i think to look at a woman is pretty but the thought of touching a woman in a sexual way is a no no no for me.

so no im not bisexual at all, very clearly prefer men and cock lol

Some psychologists say both men and women go through a homosexual phase while growing up. some stay there some dont become fully hetrosexual.

Haha Rachel, yep me too!!

Im not the least bit intereseted sexually in women. I like the female body and it can be beautiful to look at and i look at women in an envious way, not a sexual way. Men are far sexier and their bodies can be such a turn on for me.

Even in the past when drunk, i have never been persuaded to kiss, touch or make a pass at a girl.

i know i am straight 100%, but i have done certain things with a friend of mine. i do find some women pretty and like toying around says sometimes in an envious way, but i would not go out of my way to be with a women unless it was something i was doing for my partner and we both agreed on it. does not make me 'bi' tho x

I happy to admit when a woman is pretty but I've never been attracted to a women. I have kissed a girl before but it was just abit of fun and I had no "feelings" about her.

I am straight and could not imagine being sexual with a woman, it's just not for me. I do have a few gay/bi female friends but we don't really talk openly about it and we're all still young (20) so it's the time where we may be confused or want to experiment with our sexuality.

Anyway, I don't think ALL women do, just some

ClareB xx

I can see another woman was beautiful but having a sexual relationship with a woman does nothing for me.I am def sticking with a man for my sexual thrills

I think you can see by our responses we are NOT even a little bisexual by heart. Yes, you have had a lucky run, not unlucky surely!!! lol

As with most things, people's tastes and behaviour tend to fall on a spectrum. A much smaller percentage of people identify as being 100% straight or 100% gay than the majority who would privately admit to being somewhere in the middle, but that's what you'd expect in any statistical spread of data.

I think the social pressure on men to conceal and repress their feelings for other men tends to artificially polarise them even further - straighter men often tend to think of themselves as entirely straight, and rarely admit to any other feelings, while men who've taken the comparatively big step of coming out are then reluctant to complicate things.

Women, by contrast, are much more socially flexible, and free to express unorthodox sexuality to themselves and each other. And, presumably, to their male acquaintances as well, or we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Just my take on it, but one of the things that attracted me to an old girlfriend was that we shared the same taste in women.

I think we all develop a feeling towards other women at the end. (With you being one)

I say this because my family is almost all composed by girls, I know lots of them... but I won't touch "family" only friends I've made, those yes, I consider them to be a green light.

I've done it with one female friend way back and nowadays I only manage to grope other girls boobs or kiss their lips. That saddnes me. My luck sucks and I'm picky. I want way more. Despite me having a boyfriend and being hella loyal, but the thing is, I adore females as long as I can remember! And I've told him that lots of times. He doesn't seem to bother much since we trust each other.

I love a girls body, outfits and perhaps their unique personalities. Makes you want to be with them in more than a single way, you know? It's like touching yourself with extras. That's my opnion... ^-^

I disagree, though I feel a scale is more representative than gay/straight/bi. In some ways I actually feel that the "all women are a bit bi" or "everyone's a bit bi" arguements actually hinder bisexual acceptance as a valid sexuality in the mainstream, but that's just my soapbox issue anyway!

Personally, I am bisexual (or pansexual perhaps - more accurate but lesser known) - but with a preference for women. I swing from 60/40 pref women to 95% - depending on a number of factors. What never changes is my love and desire for my OH (male).

We are your normal 'lower middle' class couple (hate the tag but it describes the demographic). Mrs A has two children from her first marriage, I have one. The friends we have are similar but it surprised me when the hair was let down the women who are (or could be) into women

On the night in question 'K'' asked, 'partner notwithstanding, and you had the opportunity, would you have sex with Angelina Jolie?' Out of 8 women left at midnight there were mixed responses but not one answered 'no'.

If the same question were asked of me re Brad Pitt the answer would be 'sod off!'

An interesting debate?????

I would not have sex with Angelina Jolie.

I would consider myself bi curious, I did occassionally think about having sex with another woman, but I am really in reality into men, becaue I am starting to reliase I would never do it. So its just a curiosity what if... Something is telling me that it is one of the things for me which should remain a fantasy. I am not really bisexual in the sence some other members are, who had female partners or now have but are also interested in men.

I know im straight but i can appreciate when a women is beautiful and has a body to die for!

Interestingly enough a study conducted proved that women are more likely to be turned on by lesbian/ girl on girl sexual encouters than men. Women are also turned on (you might not realise it in your brain, but your body knows it) by sex acts they deem as degrading or distasteful.

So no i don't think all women have a degree of bi tendancies but I do agree with the study. I don't think we are programmed to break down same gender or degrading sex etc when we see a sexual scene infront of us.

And yes Ampeli, very interesting. Good thread x

Thankyou Miss teach & nurse. BTW, I gatecrashed a Pampered Chef party (that became a pass the Pinot party)after finishing work late. Funny how things turn out!

I personally (like most men) are turned on by girl on girl encounters and knowing my OH whom I love dearly is bi in the sexual sense adds spice like you wouldn't believe. To add to what Mr Monster said, sharing the same taste in women is also a fun bonus.

We have a sound marriage and can communicate freely, and as long as it stays that way I feel blessed that Mrs A is like NymphetimeKiss in that her sexual attraction to women is 60/40 over men

I'm not sure anyone is fully straight or gay, I'd say I'm straight but there are definitely some women I definitely get very turned on by even though I love cock too much to go without one during sex!

I think even really straight people can find something about the same sex that they find attractive, even if the feeling isn't strong enough to ever act on it. Women are just more honest and open about experimenting with it because men find it attractive!

Ideal relationship for me I think: With a woman, all the chatting, love stuff, cuddling, then bring in a hot sexy man to play with!

I am definitely fully straight and i think alot of men and other women will say the same! I have no intention of even kissing an girl or being flirty with a girl. Women do not turn me on but i appreciate the figure of a woman as i do a man!!

Personally, I am definitely 100% straight, I have no interest in women in a sexual sense whatsoever, the exact opposite in fact. I don't want to do anything of a sexual nature with a woman at all, nor do I want a woman to do anything to me, it would turn me off completely. It's all about men for me.... For example if I watch porn, I never view the woman in a sexual way at all, I only ever imagine it being me that those things are happening to, the woman doesn't turn me on at all. I couldn't watch solo girls or girl on girl stuff as it would leave me cold... but that's just me.

That said, I am fully able to comment on a woman being attractive etc, but that doesn't make her attractive to me, it just means I can recognise her beauty, whether that's her looks or her personality. The female friends I have, I think are all beautiful for being them, but there's no sexual element to it.

I probably haven't explained myself very well there at all, in fact, it's probably very jumbled, sorry.... I have a banging headache and concentrating is hard... not good when I'm supposed to be studying.
