I walked out the door this afternoon and could smell a BBQ. Some about it makes me excited for those long nights with a beer, food and good company.
I LOVE a BBQ, my favorite way of cooking.
We do a lot of wild camping, so I do a lot of cooking wild caught fish and meat over a campfire and have gotten very good at it (helped by a friend of mine who has a cookery school and has written several books including a couple of the River Cottage series!)
We also have a farm so have a ready supply of BBQ fare. I love to BBQ year round, including in the depths of winter. One of the best we had was down by our lakes on the farm on my birthday a couple of years ago. There was snow on the ground and we set a campfire, cooked up some food and broke open a keg of cider. Then we all slept it off in my fishing cabin.

I wood, but we live in a flat and have nowhere to keep a proper BBQ, hence the slow roast first and finish on the disposable. Its my cheat way to have something better than sausage and burgersā¦ but thanks anyway for the advice.
Thought id put thatā¦ must have been in a different topicā¦ soz
Finally a bbq tomorrow
Not jealous at all lol
