Best lube for toy use?

Eleanor has given some really good advice re waterbased lubes as for the best you have to decide if you want your lube to bin thin and watery, thick or a gel i personally would try and avoid glycerine and parabens where possible and pick something with natural soothing ingredients in, i'm already keeping my eye out for what waterbased lube i should be looking for next when i run out of my Wicked Sensitive

i love maximus...

i have also heard rave things about lquid silk just not been lucky enough to try it yet

Thank you so much everyone, and Eleanor. SO helpful!

My skin can be very sensitive, I seem to react to a lot of things at the moment. In my head, I never really realised some lubes were so chemical based.

Right, something thick for me I think. And as natural as possible. Cheers everyone.

Sorry to bust the bubble, but WE are made of chemicals. Breathing is a chemical reaction, the act of typing this message is a chemical reaction where electrons travel through the nerve endings from my brain to my fingers and ATP breaks down to give the muscles energy to move.

Even the organic lubes are made up of chemical compounds. Everything around us is made of chemicals. The periodic table is the palette mother nature uses to make life and covalent, ionic and metallic bonds are its brush.

Sorry, sometimes being a chemistry student is frustrating.

I had sometihng similar when I was a child

Can't go wrong with water based sliquid lubes. I'd recommend the gel or sassy one for silicone toys as they tend to have more 'drag' and the thicker gel lubes counteract this.

Yeah I saw it. Laughed loud enough my dad asked if everything was fine

Ok then. I did not mean to overstep. Sorry if I did.

No overstepping at all, maybe I just mistaken the intent. I saw it as a little tribute and I found it funny, maybe I got it wrong.

I was hoping you'd be interested.

In a Little Chemist (is that the name in inglish?)? I'd love one! More holes and stains on my lab coat!

I like the liquid silk lubes, not sticky and doesnt hang around for ages after you are done.

Now it's me who probably doesn't fully comprehend. Maybe we should hit the "change language" button in our brains. I thought you were going to answer the ad. Sorry if I wasn't clear before and/or sorry if you did get it and your answer is above. :)

I thought about but.. I forgot the credentials to access subito.it. I have them, but I forgot them. Also, I was a little busy plauing Left4Dead with my boyfriend, wasn't really thinking straight while killing zombies and planning Halloween.

Call me a chicken, but if I have anything to do with zombies (thanks for putting them in my mind) at this late hour and with my husband out of town, I'd be up making rounds around the house and tripple checking the alarm being inserted until dawn! LMAO. I wasn't aware you needed credentials to answer, I never use that site. Anyway, again, I don't want to overstep, so it's completely up to you. I'll butt out now. (Slightly off topic too.) Who won by the way, you or him?

Cooperative online game, the goal is to survive, we both did but lost one of the bots (it's a 4 players game, if there aren't enough players, the characters are commanded by the AI of the game).

And this is for all non-chemists who'd like to know more about chemical elements: http://periodictable.com/Posters/index.theelements.html

There's also a second volume, "Molecules".

For those interested in how chemistry can actually be an awesome fascinating journey into how things are made, I highly suggest the website Compound Interest and its related Facebook Page.

http://www.compoundchem.com/

It explains the basic works of everyday chemistry, like the chemistry behind Guinness or some largely used plastics and other stuff but with clear, easy words and nice colourful infographics.
