i've experienced porn for about 15 years now and am beginning to find it less and less interesting! The only stuff i find even remotely interesting seems to be the amateur stuff!
has anyone else found themselves in the same position?
i'm beginning to think it's because of the way pornstars "act" in porn making it seem so very obviously fake and not sexy at all! i also wonder if this is a bi-product of being empathetic!
any thoughts?
I agree entirely, all the women look the same, they sound the same, they act the same and dont dipict real sex in any way at all. Its all fake, and fake is defo not a turn on for me.
And after seeing endless porn thats exactly the same, i've given up with it now, lol.

As for the guy, he was the total opposite, no emotion or anything at all. Just stood there thrusting. There was one part that really made me laugh. He was thrusting away and his glasses started falling down. He just pushed them back up and carried on.

I find that most porn doesn't accommodate my orientation, like usually the man is in charge. Even in prodom films, the prodom is still usually doing what the man wants, so those tend not to work for me either. Also, I don't understand why all porn has to involve some kind of penetrative fucking, as if that's all there is to sex. I also don't respond well to porn which objectifies the woman as some kind of object, which most of it seems to do in my experience. I'd like to see a lot more porn focusing on hot oiled men loving being at a woman's beck and call. :) Some gay porn comes close, but then, I'm not a gay man, so that isn't quite right for me either.
The porn I like tends to be more about individuals responding to each other as human beings, and that's a rare commodity in porn in my experience.
Most mainstream porn does seem to exaggerate things, men are usually more aggressive and the women just let themselves be used. It also appears to follow the same pattern. Boy meets girl, girl takes off top, boy takes of pants, blowjob, kissing, more blowjob, sex, money shot to face, everyone smiles.
I too prefer amateur stuff these days, but some of the regular porn out there is still okay.

And doesn't most of it look so rough for the woman - I'd be saying ouch that hurts all the time. Yes strength and a little bit of controlled force can be a turn on but they just seem to be out to cause pain mostly (I'm thinking "hope your knob snaps when they're being really rough").
yeah the majority of porn does seem to be harsh for the women! The men all seem to be either muscle-bound convicts or dirty old men and they all treat the women pretty rough! Even lesbian porn sucks because their body language tells you that they aren't into each other and are struggling with the experience! It always ends up being like the straight porn with the women shoving toys carelessly into each other!
I think it would probably help if their wasn't a camera man as that must be a bit awkward if you are enjoying the experience! I guess you would get exhibitionists but they are more than likely the one's that are playing it up for the camera!

HAHAHA so funny!! I watched one with hubby last week and the girl was just soo repetative and loud. I would have thought that to be off putting! I guess I don't watch enough of it for me to recognise the same thing over n over again but it does all seem to have the same theme.
I agree with most of what's been said. Definitely don't feel I'm getting exactly what I need out of porn. Some of it's OK but never perfect. I hate how it mostly portrays women and would like to see more men on men scenes or MMF threesome. Porn directors should read this thread!

There are some videos from 'I Feel Myself' which sort of get rid of the camera man, there is just a fixed camera. It's also alright because it only has genuinely attractive women in rather than the usual 'porn-dolls' that have been pumped full of silicone.

Its hard to find, most is either rubbish lesbian porn involving stupid exaggerated tongue flicks like an aardvark (wow.. arn't these popular on the forum these days?) or complete facesitting that sometimes goes a bit too kinky for me involving anuses (ani??External Media), smothering or hardcore domination and pain.
