So I bought the Lovehoney Beginner Anal kit (http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=30367) for my first time at doing any anal stuff.
Now altogether the kit is great, I liked the beads and the probe, but the plug is just far too small it just falls straight out.
So I was just wondering what kind of plug would be best to go for next?

Why not go for one of the smaller Njoy plugs? Nothing else really compares to the weighty feel of a steel plug, so what better way to work up to the large one than going for a small/medium one? :)
Those steel plugs look fantastic but are expensive. Are there any others which are good for "wearing" for extended periods? I find most of mine are sore or expelled after a while.
Have you tried a glass butt plug? They are amazing, I have the two below, and they are both fab! I was using silicone butt plugs, then I tried glass and was blow away by the stimulation, and sensations they provide!

Also my only other reservation with getting an expensive smaller plug, dont they become...erm abit useless when you get to the big leagues so to speak?

Glass would be the best alternative to the smaller nJoy plugs if you're concerned with the price and then not using them much after you've progressed in size. But you could always use the smaller plugs as warm-ups to the bigger plugs later on to get your moneys worth!
I'd suggest the medium nJoy plug, rather than the small. As that would probably get much more use long-term.

really? I'm totally in love with glass at the moment. it's cool, smooth and hygienic. feels really wonderful... slips in easily too.
In fact, glass shares quite a few properties of the metal ones I would imagine (I don't actually own any metal ones myself), just a bit lighter in weight.

Just take your time, many a time I've thought that'll never fit(even thrown them away!) but(t) they will and do fit after a while so just go slow, a long taper type plug is generally easier to get used to when going up in sizes.
