Ok, so what’s the capybara all about, from what I can tell it’s add an animal with the next letter from the alphabet, I read on one thread about the herb first so I put the herb, then realised it was animals, and I still didn’t get the 2 messages from discobot, can anyone help please?

If you’re doing a Discobot tutorial:
When you get to the message asking you to perform a Search for ‘Capybara’ you need to tick the ‘search this topic’ box.
That will give you 1 search result (a copy of the first Discobot tutorial message, but this time with an image of a capybara in it).
Reply to that post with a 
and you’ll get the certificate. 
If you fluff it up and it dead ends on you just ask him for a new one.

@Goth_Girl yeah @Ian_Chimp sorted me out, I’m now certified, I just gotta work on levelling up now, Mrs toysrus will be doing some reviews on some recent purchases tonight, although the last 2 she did haven’t showed up on the site yet

I keep an eye on the Certified list to see if people have given up or not.
My first Discobot topic is filled with me swearing at him because he wouldn’t work properly. He’s had a tweak or two since though, so hopefully it’s a bit easier.

So true, but I do love the pleasant surprises of finding fellow enthusiasts for non sexy stuff on here. Helps to, um, flesh out other peoples characters to me.

That one was easier, now I’m licensed, so to go up levels I just need to post more topics, reply to threads and come on as many days as possible, is that right? Any other advice would be awesome as we would love to be able to become testers one day
To be honest, the only things you really need to be able to do is read and type. The rest is mainly garnish.
The main info hub is the Welcome Topic, and that’s got lots of links in for all the forum features (and you can dip in and out of that whenever you need to). There’s also a little Forum How-To that’s quite nifty. You can go to the Welcome Topic from any page by clicking on the ‘Learn More’ box in the main forum header banner.
For the reviewing and testing side of things it’s actually not as tricky as you’d think. It’s pretty much open to anyone. All you have to do is write some good reviews of things you’ve already got to get you started, and then pop your name down when a tester topic turns up. They can be quite popular, so patience is definitely a virtue, but new people get stuff all the time.
With the main website getting a recent makeover the method has changed a bit from the The Great Big Review and Testing Guide, but it’s just as easy to chuck your hat in the ring.
If you go to the #testers category you’ll see the ones that are currently open for volunteers, and you simply have a read of the OP and reply to the topic with the items from the list you want to put your name down for. And if Brenna thinks you’re a good match she’ll pair you up with an item and send you an email.
The 
ones are regular testers that are already live on the site (so you can chat about them as you would any other purchase).
The 
ones are Secret, so those won’t have a product page as yet, and you mustn’t discuss them publicly anywhere (not even on the forum) until they go live on the site.
The The Great Big Review and Testing Guide is probably still worth a read even though it refers to some things that no longer exist (Tester List, Sex Toy Tester Wishlist, Linking Profiles, etc). The Secret Tester section is still spot on, and the sending in your measurements for lingerie testing (and the How to Write a Great Review guide is good too). I’m sure it will be updated soon with the new info, so keep an eye out for that.
Edit: And you might want to set #testers to ‘Watching First Post’ so you get a notification every time a new Tester topic is posted.

@Ian_Chimp i have put my name down for a few already but as I mentioned our reviews still aren’t on the site yet, been over a week, we will do a couple more tonight and see if they get published
Mine hasn’t gone live yet from well over a week ago. I think the new site is having some teething problems. It’s probably a good chance to practice your review skills. Good ones are normally a decent length, and quite detailed too, so a few of those kind will put you in a better position than banging out a lot of shorter ones.
The 2 my mrs wrote are pretty in depth, not just a few lines, so hopefully that gets us noticed, we are buying stuff monthly and would love to try the things that we wouldn’t normally buy, or that aren’t that high on the list, or ones that are too expensive, we are still gonna get all the things that we wanna try
