sounds like you got on pretty well with it. I have had an attempt in thepast and is was a disaster - attributed to a number of reasons
bought another one immediately but havent tried it out as yet

I had this a good few years back i made a absolute mess of the room lol
As somone has said already make sure to do it on a hard floor i made the mistake of doing it on the carpet and it spilled everywhere on to the carpet,the carpet was ruined and couldnt get the stuff off it!
