Ive just goit this item and i cant seem to get it to connect up to the vibrator am i doing something wrong?
I bought one a few weeks ago and had the same problem.
It turns out that the battery in the remote control wasn't held in tight enough by the battery case to make a proper connection. The remote control buttons light up the same purple as the vibrator's power light when it's on.
To test it out I took the back off and held the battery in tight with one hand while pressing down the power button with the other, and then I finally saw the lights come on.
To solve it I padded out the battery back with a circle I cut from some EVA foam I had in the craft box, though I'm sure you could find something else handy.
