First butt plug question

Hello everyone!

I want to get a butt plug that I can use during sex, that doesn't pop out and doesn't get in the way of penetration by covering my vagina.

I am torn between these two... Which would you say fits my needs better?

(Btw, what the hell is that tab sticking from the base? What is its purpose?)

I am open to any other suggestion for a cheap beginner's dildo for wear during sex.

Thanks a lot in advance!

I would imagine the tag is to help you remove it when using the suction cup. For using during sex I would personally go with number two purely as I believe the ring pull would be easier to move/bend if it got in the way of the vagina.

I would go with that first one.
The sticky out bit is a tab to help you remove it from a surface you may have suction cupped it to.
When looking for a plug you need to find one with a decent Base. That is the difference between the slim bit that will sit actually in your butt hole and the but that remains outside.
Both of these appear to have this, but IMO the stem on the second is a bit short and I think it'll pop out. That first looks like a really good design.
As long as you stick with te advice about the base you'll be fine.

Out of the 2 i would go the the first one.

The little tab is for the suction cup base. The tab give you something to pull to break the air lock of whatever you have stuck it to.

This could also be an option. It has a narrow neck so should stay in and the T bar base is comfy and won't get in the way.

Hi AnimaSola8

As above, I'd go with option 1. You really need a slim neck / stem in order for the plug to be able to stay in well; I have a small silicone one which is great for beginners but I had trouble keeping it in as my muscles pushed it out when approaching orgasm. The first one looks like the neck / stem is slim so that should be ok!

I'm still quite new to anal but I've just bought a metal plug, it's very small so quite easy to use and doesn't move around! It's here if you'd like to have a look, although it's not available to buy at the mo. There will be some good alternatives though 😁

I agree. Narrow neck is important. The booty buddy is great as a starter plug too.

I like to use this one during sex, and find it to be very comfortable. It also does not slip out which is a big plus, and the balls give wonderful sensations:

One for the value, 2 for the design shape(will stay in usually without issues), 3 people underestimate the size required often buying several at first to find the right size? your partner may want to try one of the other sizes?

"Could" be put through the dishwasher not sure re gem though.

I'd say Option 1, as the movement of the ball inside it will give you extra stimulation and from a male perspective i've got the medium one and find that it stays in perfectly.

First one is amazing I just can't still when I've got that one in. So if your going at it.... it's going to feel amazing 😍

My first plug was this:

It isn't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. I like the curve at the base as you can sit very comfortable. The jiggle does add a great sensation and it doesn't fire out. The basics range is great to get used to the Butt plug feel but they don't exactly stay in well.

First of all, thanks everyone for the feedback! You've been very helpful. :)

I've been eyeing those plugs too.

About Doc Johnson, I did hear the T bar base is great, however, I wondered if people saying that were men because the distance between the anus and the vagina seems to be pretty short and that the bar would get it in the way of penetration. Does it really not? If so, is it dependant on individual anatomy or do women generally have no issue with those? Do they need to manually be twisted to the side somehow during penetration? Does the man feel the edge of the bar?

About Booty Buddy, I wanted to go with a straight butt plug because I wondered if the curved shape would "dig" into my vagina too much during penetration and make it too tight. Also, the T bar base looks suuuuper long.

Neither.

You do get what you pay for with sex toys, pay cheap, get cheap. It is worthwhile to spend a little more money on a decent sex toy, rather than paying cheap and making do.

Another vote for a narrow neck if your desire is for it not to be pushed out during sex.

This looks good value, the material is most ideal (silicone), narrow neck, and boasts a pretty little gem.

@AnimaSola8
T bars really don't get in the way, especially if you are in doggy position. I don't have that particular plug i mentioned but i do have the one below which is incredible which i use with my fella all the time.

T bars are great for beginners because the bar sits nicely between you bum cheeks. Whereas a round base pushes into them a little which can feel odd if you are not used to it.

Good to know about T bars. It's probably my own paranoia and lack of experience making me think they would get in the way. Though I did measure the distance between my ass and vagina and it's only 1 inch. Don't know what the average is. Still, thanks for the reassurance!

Hmmm, that is too big for me. However, the Doc Johnson one is smaller with a similar design. So you definitely think that one would be better than Roll Play I linked to in the OP?

This kind of design is what I was originally looking for because I find it extremely sexy, but I could not find any that were smaller and not suuuuper expensive. I'm okay spending around 20 pounds, but I cannot justify more than that as a total anal newbie that has no idea what she likes. I only know the comfortable circumference for my vagina is 4 inches, so I am assuming my inexperienced behind will be much smaller. I think no more than 3 inches around would probably be wise (and there doesn't even seem to really be anything smaller than that on the market, anyway.)

The doc Johnson one was my first and it's great, really comfy but its easy to underestimate what size to get. I know it doesn't necessarily follow you are small everywhere but I am very petite and I could have done with (and do now use) a bigger one.

My first one wasthe LH silicone beginners butt plug and has been a great starter butt plug... Reasonably priced too.

I know it's an oldish thread but we didn't have much luck with the Cupid plug as it doesn't have enough of a stem length or base width to stop it from disappearing.

The one and only time we used it we just managed to grasp the end of the ring and retreive it.
