Absolutely gutted. I find that after 5 months of using Sliqud lubes with no trouble, I get a really intense burning sensation which is no fun; ended up at the Doctors with a prescribed cream to take home. Turns out the old body now is allergic ![](upload://f8zGclFeQx35HwZLqJ7J1rFzQ0n.gif). Now using Durex Aloe Vera lube, cross fingers no probs so far.
Really annoying is that I have one full bottle and one half bottle of Sliquid lubes left. Looks like they will be going down the sink ![](upload://auespWY2jeVe46VFziva9nry44n.gif)
No afraid not. Have you isolated which ingredients you are allergic to? If you bought the lube from LH you might still be able to make use of the returns policy and exchange for the lube you're not allergic to...?
I tried liquid silk the other night and was stinging too but gonna try it again as wanna make sure it was the lube, it's the first time I've ever had that from using lubes :(
if you can afford it System JO's Organic lube is made from all natural ingredients and shouldn't cause any issues http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=31211 i have had reactions to a lube not sold on here so far all the lubes i've had off here (Durex, System JO, testers) haven't caused me any problems
Yup, definitely the lube unfortunately. It's the carrageenan (seaweed extract) that's doing me in. Reading all lube ingredients with a fine toothed microscope now(grin).
Going to try ID and Pjur see if they are OK. Good so far with Durex Aloe and KY.
Oh no :( you could always contact customer care and I'm sure they'll be able to sort something out for you! Out of curiosity, which lube/s caused it? Apparently people developing reactions to the Organics line isn't totally unheard of because it has added natural ingredients or something, unlike the regular ones which are about as pure as pure gets.
Oh, and Yes lube is very gentle so you might want to look into their water-based one in future.
Oh no thats horrible :(, but with Sleepycelia on contacting customer care.
I had a nasty reaction to the Tracey Cox EDGE lubricant -

It was part of the kit i was sent as a tester but i emailed just to let them know incase i wasnt the only one who had a nasty reaction and they were so awesome they sent me some of my favourite flavoured lube as a gift instead.
I'm not sure what i had a reaction to as there is Aloe in LHs own water-based brand and i use it quite a bit for sunburn. The only other thing i could possibly think of was the citric.
@sleepycelia: it was Slquid H20 organic and the personal moisturiser one that has a dark blue label with gold writing (sorry, but my memory is really cruddy).
I use the H20 Original (not organic) as it has very few ingredients and no carrageenan in it. I also love Sliquid Sassy, again, very few ingredients. They don't have Aloe in them either, which can be a bit stingy in delicate areas. I am very sensitive and get on really well with both these products :) x
We both had a burning reaction to Lovehoney's Delight lube, so much so I had to check I hadn't bought a warming lube by mistake. It's got carrageenan in too.
It's still sitting on my desk waiting for me to write a review.....only been there for 6 months so far!
