I'm getting bored of durex. Someone wanna recommend me something else? Used for both vaginal and anal (and oral if someone has found a decent flavoured one!)
Pjur original is a good silicone lube - we find it great for most things but being silicone take care that any silicone toy you use with it is OK (a small patch test in the base of the toy will show if the silicone lube bonds to the toy material.
We also use Liquid Slik - its water based and is very slick - much more slippy than the silicone but not so long-lasting. We use these two lubes together Silk on and silicone in to get an easy 'in' and good lube for as long as you can last.
Liquid silk is my favourite and is used by may of my gay friends for anal as well. You just might find it a bit thin for that I suppose. I think it does contain parabens (sp??) to be honest though. I always use it though.
This is a recommendation for a lube NOT to use!!!
I was about to give my ex a nice long hard session of anal and started to apply some Durex Play Tingle lube on her asshole. 10 seconds later....screams of ITS BURNING! and she has to go wash it off to stop the pain and I have to drive to Tesco at 4am to buy some normal lube!

Yes- durex tingle is more a stimulant than an entry lube (I cannot think of a better way to put that!). I've made that mistake before. Luckily it didn't burn, but it makes your bits feel funny for ages!
Most my toys are on the cheaper side, so silicon might not be a good idea. Liquid silk seems to come recommended then.
That does get great reviews - might try it myself next time.
I've just realised I'm allergic to lubes with glycerin in them so I'm giving Sliquid a go. Seems pretty good so far, it doesn't smell or have any nasty chemicals in it and it feels very natural.
Yes I have the apple sliquid from LH and it is good. I didn't like the taste though.
I have to admit...it was hilarious to watch... but just out of curiousity.... I tried a tiny amount on myself...so I can understand why my generous helping would've caused so much discomfort! I think you should get your partner back!
Liquid Silk is my fav, if there were an equivalent without parabens I would buy that but finding one that is good and water based? I haven't hunted one down yet.... Like trying to find the Holy Grail... which OK I've never tried to find but I would imagine that is hard too lol

Although I like Liquid Silk I am finding that the Pjur silicone lube is just fantastic. Although it is more expensive you don't use anything like as much as you do with water based lubes. One significant difference is that silicone does not feel cold when you put it on. Some water based lubes seem to chill in places and at times when you least want it.
Not sure why so many people seem reluctant to try silicones. Is there something (other than the silicone toy issue) I should know?

I dunno I;ve just always liked it so much. It's not tacky like KY etc. It glides, it seems to match my own natural lube. It's waterbased and you can use it everywhere. It tastes OK. The pump bottle is good! I dunno it's just always kicked the ass of other lubes IMHO.

Looks like I need to get my hands on some liquid silk as soon as my current supply of lube finishes! And it doesnt take me too long to get through a bottle!
ID Glide/Millenium (Water/silicon based).
Both myself and my gf love glide for anal play, and add a bit of millenium for anal sex or faster play. We've also got tub of lubrifist, which is pretty good when mixed with the above too :)
We havn't explored the relms of new lubes for a long while, so any suggestions welcome too :)
