I prefer when I'm neat and tidy but when meeting special friend I will get rid of all but a small landing strip! I think the porn industry started the trend! However I and others have been told by the smear nurse that the hair is meant to be there to protect your noonie from nasties getting in, which I understand and I've also heard of a lady who kept hers completely smooth ended up with horrendous smells down there xx
Meant to ad shaving is a big no no for me osha boy the itchiness lol I just use nair for tidy ups and get waxed for nookie lol xx
Complete personal preference. I would always prefer to be clean shaven. It makes underwear feel so much sexier and the feel of silk is amazing!. It heightens any senses. Have never liked pubic hair - on men, yes. Not on a woman - I feel it isn't very attractive. But like I said personal preference - if we were all the same, the world would be a boring place. 
i like it smooth for 2 reasons. too much hair looks untidy on me, my puusy doest look that nice when hairy and secondly i wear only tiny g-gstrings and micro thongs. so definately dont like the hair popping out from the sides.
I shave then let it grow back. My Mr prefers me fully shaved, and has joked about tying me to the bed and spanking me if I haven't (losing its touch now though, sadly), but he let's me do what I want to do with it.
However, I do find that I'm endlessly pulling at it once it gets to a particular length, which is when my bikini shaver comes out.
