Hair today gone tomorrow!

Hello everyone.

Just to introduce myself I'm the male side of this relationship and I would like to read your comments to this post.

I have been reading now various post and it seems a lot of young ladies and women like to be fully shaven? Now appart from cleanliness witch of cause is next to godliness.
Why else is this!
I only ask as I'm a father to a daughter and
as a child I heated wearing clothes and as a result its a very open/natural family until 3 year ago when the obvious happened.
But my loving wife had a brazilian and I now have lost interest in going down on her for it looks very young.
My wife looks young for her age and when we got together I was 18 she was 16 but again looked younger and I only agreed to go on a date when her mum slapped a birth certificate in my face.
I guess I'm thinking this because I got taunts saying nasty things.
So are there more reasons to being bald or a strip...

I think people are in the belief that pubes look scruffy, if I could straighten them I would keep them, some people have lovely soft straight pubes but most are like wire sponges. They're also scratchy, and hold onto smells. I still don't shave much though, that's itchy too. God I miss not having pubes!

me and OH got together when I was 18 he was 40 but I look very young, we've never had any comments though, not that I've noticed. I think he likes that it looks young, maybe because he's used to older women?

I used to be fully shaven when I was in my late teens. If I'm honest, I only fully shaved because thats what everyone else did. Lads would comment about other girls that had not shaved and kinda teased them about it.

At a slightly older age 24. I've got to the point where I couldn't care less what others think. I have a trimmed strip in the middle and shave the sides bare. I don't like being fully shaven at all. Partly refering to you're comment on it looking a bit child like ( I look very young too) but also, the regrowth is horrable!! Mainly in the middle where the two directions of hair meet. Plus I kinda like twiddling my other halfs hair between my fingers as a comfort thing when in bed or cuddled on the sofa. (Dunno if that's weird??)

I definatly agree with trimming though. Too much hair just looks untidy, on men and women!

I am a tad confused here.. I am guessing as "Dana" is a petite femaile according to the profile then you must be Dana's OH then .?

I might be different to others but I tend to leave it upto the Mrs how she keeps her lower area in check as regards pubic hair . My only preference is that she doesn't have a full bush for having Pubic hairs in your mouth from an oral session isn't very romantic. or pleasant.

If you are not happy with Dana's Brazilian then perhaps you need to make your feellings known to her for next time .l I am sure she will listen and act accordingly to keep you happy.

But it my Mrs had a brailian then I wouldn't complain. At end of the day hair is hair and it grows back.

Just my view.

Well my fab partner of 6 months prefers me to have a fluffy pubs area! He says he doesn't mind a trim here and there...but he gets a real kick out of stroking me down there!
He says it makes a woman more womanly and sexy.. And tbh I am rather glad as shaving can be a right flaff!😜

I think the reason women go bare is because we are made to feel gross and disgusting for having something natural there I'm sure men and other women think you have very poor personal hygiene if you go to the pool or beach and they catch sight of the fact you haven't shaved your bikini line I think you should be able to keep as groomed as you want, I think trimmed is a good place to be to save looking untidy

I have shaved since I had an emergency C-section when I was 18. I had never shaved before, but my main reason to keep it shaved, was the fact that I hated mother nature and my pubes interacting with each other!

I've since gone from full shaving, to doing a "barely there" trim, as I'm light haired, it looks smooth, but I never took a blade to it. I have diabetes and ingrown hair and razor nicks would cause huge problems and they took ages to heal. Now I use a mans beard trimmer, to keep me trim and tidy. It is done solely for myself and not others. It's what I feel comfortable with, plus some toys get tangled in pubes, like the squeel! That was an ouch moment, for sure!

If it puts you off why don't you talk to her about it? I think this is where we get lost with things in a relationship...communication! You could have taken a different angle and said a bit of pub really turns you on, would you grow some me you sexy kitten! Somehthing like that!

I don't like the bold eagle, tried it once and I felt it made me look like a 5 yr old gone wrong! So I have just a strip at the front and my sides are all gone too. I like some, just like I like some on a guy, but manscaped!

Talk to her!!

What makes you think it looks young? I never really understand this. It's the exact same pussy it was before the brazilian, it's just hairless now. If you've changed your daughter's nappy or helped out with potty training (depending what age she is), you'll understand what I mean that hairless does not equal looking like a child (or even looking like a teenager).

It's fine to have a preference for your partner having (or not having) public hair, but I think you've given yourself a bit of a mental block here with regards to the age thing. She is still the age she is and I doubt she did it to look younger so it could be worth trying to put that thought aside and enjoy the bareness while it lasts. Why not try to see the more erotic side that you can now see 'everything' with no hair in the way? Or enjoy not having pubes in your teeth? :p

Correct i am danas husband as I'm the male of the relationship! I did leave it upto her and she surprised me with it one night. And we talk it through. It's just being call a pedo when we first started going out came flooding back when I was get down on her. And I'm glad to say those people are not appart of my life now. And yes hair doses grow back so thank you for your comments :-)

Cleanliness and increased sensitivity are probably the main reasons, nothing to do with `paedo`s`

I've done it since it grew if u like ... partly peer pressure as when I was this sort of age it was the done thing. But having said that ive tried growing it eu natural a few times I cant stand it.

I love the feel, the cleanliness, the sensitivity of being bald down there.

My OH doesn't pay any attention to my pubic hair style. I don't like to receive oral, so I guess he doesn't need to bother with what it looks like.

I have done the full Brazilian thing once, but I felt about 12 years old so that had to go. So I do know what you mean about it looking young. So now I tend to drift between, a well trimmed little triangle and a landing strip, depending on my mood.

I always thought that women liked a Brazilian so that the man wouldn't get hair in his mouth when giving them oral. Shows how little I know.

Hope this helps.

I think I must be doing this wrong if people enjoy the increased sensitivity... then again I guess it is increased to itchiness! Think I'm gonna follow someone else on here and start using a beard trimmer, razor rash is Hell on earth!

I've always preferred being smooth, I just like the feel, the look and just prefer no hair in the way. I don't think its any more hygienic or anything, it's just what I prefer. My husband started shaving his pubes about 5 years ago and has been smooth since then.

My OH doesn't seem to have any real preference on how I style my pubic region. At one point I let it grow completely and we used to joke about it being my " 70's porn look " I have also shaved it all off before but I hated the horrible scratchy regrowth and the fact that I had to shave every other day to keep on top of it , plus the fact that I looked liked a plucked chicken !

I've now decided to let it grow back but keep it tidy and trimmed at the sides and have to admit it does make me feel a little more womanly.

I do shave it all because I feel cleaner, it's like if I haven't shaved my legs I don't feel fresh. My other half doesn't mind either way but I'm sure as I get older I'll resort to a landing strip! Hair always grows back, so if you don't really like clean shaven on your wife it won't take long to come back :)

I normally just trim mine short but last night my oh shaved it all off for me, he seems to love it I got thrown around the bed most of the night, don't think I will like it when it regrows though I may need to start waxing x

I am in the same position as your wife in that I look young. Personally I dont have any desire to be completely bare. Like you say, it looks young and I think a woman's body should be appreciated. I prefer having hairless lips down below purely for easier oral access but I like having a triangle at the front.

I thonk some of the reason (at least in younger people) is the pressure of looking "perfect" and we are told frequently that sexy women have no body hair. I disagree, I think body hair should be present, but looked after ie hair is fine, but I dont really want to rock a full forest down there either.

Personally i find shaving awful, it takes a long time, it requires angles i just can't reach (not sure if its weight related or not much room in the shower bath, but stitches strains etc aren't fun) and the regrowth itches so bad i feel im going insane, and i am prone to ingrown hairs and gt an awful whitehead break out no matter how often i shower. I would shave if it was my partners preference, but i prefer to trim, but i am self conscious that shaving is the "in" thing and you read everywhere that it's virtually expected of women as for them to have hair is "disgusting" or "un lady like". It would take a lot of reassurance from a partner to actually take my clothes of regardless if i was shaved or not.
